With Derek gone, Eugene was set to face the last week without the under the water breath holding challenge. That was until Makosi offered her services.
Eugene stood and chatted to Makosi as she relaxed in the pool. Aware of his impending loneliness, she offered to be his new pool buddy.
"When you come in to the water, I'll come in with you," she promised.
"Ok" Eugene cheerfully replied.
It's a pity I can't go under water because of my hair but I'd like to see how long I can get," she continued, humouring him. "I'm trying to get something sorted for my hair, if I can get that sorted I might have a go at going under water."
Eugene seemed suitably happy with that offer and stuttered, "Okey dokey! I'll probably see you a bit later, Ok, cheers."
