Neighbours releases updated opening titles as new family move in
The Rodwell family are officially part of Ramsay Street.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a39988468/neighbours-opening-titles-rodwell-family/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours has updated its opening titles to include the newest residents of Ramsay Street.

On Friday (May 13), the Australian soap's Twitter account shared a look at the new opening titles which now include the Rodwell family ? Andrew (Lloyd Will) , his wife Wendy (Candice Leask) and their daughter Sadie (Emerald Chan).

In April, police sergeant Andrew and wife Wendy expressed interest in buying Number 26, after fans had theorised that the Rodwells would move to Ramsay Street permanently.

The family made the big move to Number 26 this week. But it hasn't been easy as daughter Sadie was involved in starting the fire at Erinsborough High earlier this year.

In an effort to try and smooth things over with their neighbours, the family decided to host a moving-in barbecue.

Unfortunately, the gathering didn't go to plan and the Rodwells were left wondering if they should pack up and leave after receiving the upsetting news that Hendrix (Ben Turland) is seriously ill, having been diagnosed with a lung condition called pulmonary fibrosis.

https://twitter.com/NeighboursTV/status/1525030587504918529?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5 Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1525030587504918529%7Ctwgr% 5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitalspy.com%2Fsoaps%2 Fneighbours%2Fa39988468%2Fneighbours-opening-titles-rodwell-family%2F

Hendrix now needs a lung transplant in order to survive, and, with the fire that Sadie and her friend Aubrey Laing (Etoile Little) started to blame for his condition, the Rodwells became very aware that their presence on the street could be hugely difficult for him.

However, the family aren't sure that they can afford to move for a second time, and next week they'll need to do some soul-searching as they question their place on Ramsay Street.

The arrival of the Rodwells comes just months before the soap is set to air its last-ever on Monday, August 1.

The final episodes will see the return of 23 characters from the soap's history including Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan as Charlene and Scott Robinson.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.

Very hard to care about these 'new' characters when the show is ending. That applies to the guest spots, the new arrivals or those moving from guests/recurring to series regulars.

Maybe we're still seeing episodes filmed before the decision was made, which would make sense, but there are 2.5 months left and it should be heading towards the final angle soon.

Interesting that they?re in the titles. I wondered if maybe they?d just slowly move out all the OGs so there would be less characters. Didn?t think there?s be any new ones other than guest appearances.

Neighbours lines up scary return scenes for Corey Smythe-Jones
Corey is not done with Erinsborough yet...

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a40203545/neighbours-spoilers-corey-return/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

He may have been out of sight for a while now, but Corey is about to make a dramatic reappearance in Neighbours.

The last time we saw Corey, he had abducted Harlow, drugged her, and whisked her away so she can become the latest member of his cult, The Order.

Viewers will know that The Order was an organisation that Harlow's mum was involved in during her later years, and they are certainly a persistent bunch.

Corey fled after Harlow was saved by Freya, Levi, and David, but Harlow soon learned he had not given up on her when she discovered that he installed spyware on her phone.

She has been determined to use that knowledge to draw him out of hiding, but in next week's episodes, the plan is met with some resistance from Sergeant Andrew Rodwell.

Andrew makes it clear how much he disagrees with her plan, and insists that she shut it down for her own safety.

Harlow manages to set up a meeting with Corey, and is adamant that she knows what she is doing though. She proceeds with the plan, only to be met with a twist when Corey changes the place and the time at the very last minute.

Andrew takes this as another sign that they are right to be wary, but there is one Ramsay Street resident looking to atone for their past sins ? Sadie.

Reeling from what she did to Hendrix, Sadie is keen to do some good and when she gets wind of the sting operation, she recruits Zara, and they plan to try and bring down Corey themselves.

But this soon proves to be a risky plan as the girls head into the bush and come face to face with the man himself ? and it is clear that they severely underestimated what Corey is capable of?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Tuesday, July 5 at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

The decision to end the show came after these episodes were filmed, so yes, it's a bit jarring. I'm not a fan of the new family to be honest, but I'm sure if we'd had more time, they would have developed.

I'm sure had they known the show was ending sooner, Hendrix would have lived and he and Mackenzie would have had a happy ending.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell breaks down after confession
"I thought this job was my chance."

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a45541069/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-confession/

Neighbours spoilers follow from Monday's episode (October 16), which is streaming now on Amazon Freevee.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell shared an emotional moment with her husband Andrew in Monday's episode after a difficult conversation with the Varga-Murphy family.

The week's first visit to Ramsay Street saw Wendy finally set the record straight after wrongly accusing JJ Varga-Murphy of stealing from her house.

Wendy pointed the finger at JJ after her watch went missing shortly after the teen had been caught snooping around Number 26.

She later found the watch, which had been misplaced in the laundry room at home, but stubbornly kept quiet about the discovery amid her ongoing tensions with Cara Varga-Murphy.

In Monday's episode, Wendy's conscience got the better of her after learning that the Varga-Murphy family had been experiencing homophobia following JJ and Dex joining Erinsborough High.

Wendy finally told her husband Andrew that JJ was innocent, prompting the couple to visit Number 30 to make amends.

Things started off well as Wendy made an apology for being so quick to blame JJ. However, just when the matter seemed resolved, some stern questioning from Cara exposed the fact that Wendy had waited days before clearing JJ's name.

Wendy found herself kicked out by the Varga-Murphys after a furious dressing down from Cara.

Later, in a vulnerable moment with Andrew, an upset Wendy explained why she has felt so insecure around the Varga-Murphys after Cara secured the Lassiters job she'd wanted.

Wendy said: "It's not easy seeing them every day ? going to work, heading off to their high-powered careers. Terese running her empire and Susan when she used to run the school, and now Jane.

"They're all mums. They manage to do it all, and look at me. What have I achieved? I wanted something more. I thought this job was my chance.

"I wanted a career. I wanted to know the feeling of walking out the door and having people respect me, but that's just passed me by."

Caring Andrew shared some supportive words with Wendy, reassuring her over her importance in the family and the community. Once the dust settles, can the Rodwells' feud with the Varga-Murphys finally end?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to make a shock discovery over the Varga-Murphys
She's sure to regret her recent actions.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a45632249/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-discovery/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours fan favourite Wendy Rodwell looks set to struggle with her conscience as she realises her big mistake over the menacing Linwell brothers.

A difficult moment for Wendy was revealed in the daily teaser that aired at the end of Wednesday's episode (October 25).

Viewers know that Wendy recently made contact with the Linwell brothers as she tried to dig up dirt about her new neighbour Cara Varga-Murphy.

This unwittingly tipped off the Linwell brothers over the Varga-Murphys' new location, which led to the family being targeted in a campaign of intimidation.

In Thursday's episode, Wendy's husband Andrew updates Cara in his capacity as a police sergeant.

Explaining why the Varga-Murphys' enemies have increased the pressure recently, Andrew explains: "Turns out the Linwell brothers are extremely worried about this WorkSafe hearing."

This refers to an official investigation being carried out into the siblings' unsafe work practices, which was first sparked when Cara reported them a few months earlier.

Cara is now expected to be a key witness testifying against the Linwells, who are desperate to silence her. This explains the recent falling ceiling fan at The Waterhole, and a smashed window in the Varga-Murphys' family car.

Neighbours' new promo footage shows Wendy looking sheepish as she eavesdrops on the revealing conversation between Andrew and Cara.

How will Wendy feel as she puts the pieces together and realises that she was responsible for putting her new neighbours in danger?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to share her insecurities after row with Sadie
Can Andrew patch up the family?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a46260135/neighbours-wendy-rodwell-sadie-row/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Wendy and Sadie Rodwell are set to have a blazing row later this week, which will lead to Wendy opening up about her insecurities.

Things kick off when Wendy's daughter Sadie is offered a place on a childcare degree and eventually builds up the courage to admit that she doesn't want to do it.

She explains she doesn't want to waste three years of her life and a boatload of money when what she really wants is to be a make-up artist.

Wendy doesn't take the news well, stating that she only wants what's best for Sadie - and their heated argument leads to a big falling out.

A few days later, with the atmosphere still tense, Sadie asks Haz Devkar if she can move into the house he shares with Mackenzie Hargreaves and Byron Stone.

Meanwhile, Andrew gets Wendy to admit why she flipped out. She admits to her husband that she feels like her own life has been pointless and doesn't want Sadie's to turn out the same way.

Andrew tells her she needs to work through her feelings of regret by herself, and not push them on to Sadie.

Andrew tells Sadie that her mum's reaction was more about her own career hang-ups, and promises that there won't be any more pressure. But has he managed to keep the family from fighting?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, January 4 and Monday, January 8 on Amazon's Freevee service in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.

Neighbours' Sadie Rodwell and Byron Stone in new romantic storyline
Holly suggests the potential match.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a46839172/neighbours-spoilers-sadie-byron-story/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours teen Sadie Rodwell is encouraged to pursue Byron Stone next week.

Sadie receives encouragement from her friend Holly Hoyland after sharing details about her love life.

When Sadie, Holly and Mackenzie Hargreaves go out drinking together, conversation turns to Sadie's dating history.

Holly and Mackenzie are surprised as Sadie explains that she hasn't ever slept with anyone.

Sadie says that she has never been in a rush to hook up with someone, as she wants her first time to be with someone she genuinely loves.

Although Sadie is more than ready for a sex life, she isn't having much luck as the perfect person for her doesn't seem to exist.

Later, Holly is intrigued when she spots Sadie interacting with Byron.

Holly comes up with the idea of Sadie setting her sights on Byron, but will she agree to this potential match?

Byron has been single since late last year, when his girlfriend Reece Sinclair headed back to the US.

Reece rushed out of Erinsborough following news that her father Conrad had suffered a stroke. He died a short time afterwards, leaving Reece with the responsibility of running his business.

Byron and Reece had agreed to try out a long-distance relationship while Reece was away.

However, Reece later got in touch to end their romance, leaving Byron devastated by sending him a star chain necklace as a parting gift.

Meanwhile, Sadie has been focused on her career in recent weeks, as she has made plans to train to become a make-up artist.

She also recently found herself caught up in the drama surrounding David Tanaka's death, ultimately exposing the secret that Paul Robinson was partly to blame for the tragedy.

Neighbours airs Sadie's heart-to-heart with Holly and Mackenzie on Monday, February 26.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell gets drawn into Melanie, Toadie and Terese aftermath
A Ramsay Street party sparks tensions.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a60200612/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-melanie-toadie-terese/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell faces an awkward moment next week as Melanie Pearson invites herself along to a Ramsay Street party.

When Wendy organises an official welcome celebration for her brother-in-law Felix, she initially leaves Melanie off the invitation list.

Melanie found herself at the centre of scandal this week as her secret passion with her ex-husband Toadie Rebecchi was publicly exposed at the Lassiters Longest Lie-In event.

The revelation led to the breakdown of Toadie's marriage to Terese Willis, who was devastated by his betrayal.

Next week, Holly Hoyland sets her sights on Felix and hopes to impress him at his upcoming party.

Keen for moral support, Holly asks Melanie to come with her. Melanie points out that the Rodwells haven't invited her following the recent drama surrounding her and Toadie.

Melanie also admits that she's nervous over how the rest of the Street will treat her, since their loyalties are likely to lie with Terese.

Later, Melanie sees Wendy and asks whether she can come along to the party. Put on the spot, Wendy awkwardly agrees but it's clear that she doesn't feel comfortable with the situation.

During the party, Wendy confides in Jane Harris about how she's on Team Terese and doesn't like having Melanie there. Melanie overhears the conversation and Wendy apologises for her comments.

Afterwards, Melanie vows to stop hiding herself away as she's fed up with being treated like a "scarlet woman" ? will her new unapologetic approach pay off?

Neighbours' Sadie Rodwell lashes out over 'ruined' Byron Stone romance
Andrew and Wendy cause trouble for their daughter.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a60309120/neighbours-spoilers-sadie-byron-romance-ruined/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Sadie Rodwell blames her parents Andrew and Wendy next week as her new romance starts to go wrong.

Sadie is livid when Byron Stone is put off from pursuing their relationship thanks to Andrew making his life difficult.

Upcoming episodes see Andrew struggle with his discovery that Sadie is dating Byron ? partly due to Byron's past as a male escort.

Next week, Wendy urges Andrew to accept Sadie's choices as she hopes to stay in her daughter's good books.

Andrew finds it difficult to go along with this, firmly believing that Byron is the wrong man for his daughter.

Wendy focuses her efforts on proving that she's a "cool mum", but Sadie accuses her of being just as intrusive as her dad.

Taking this on board, Wendy tells Andrew that they need to take a step back. Andrew ignores her and abuses his position in the local police force to take revenge on Byron, putting an "unroadworthy" sticker on his car.

Sadie is furious when she finds out that Andrew hassled Byron over the state of his tyres. Byron confirms that he spoke to a mechanic who confirmed the tyres had at least another six months to safely run.

Andrew is put on the spot when Sadie calls him out over his personal vendetta against Byron. Sadie warns her dad that he needs to accept she's now an adult with a sex life. Wendy agrees, but Andrew still refuses to give the relationship his blessing.

Realising this is a recipe for disaster, Byron tells Sadie that they should take some time out from their relationship in light of how her parents are reacting.

Heartbroken by Byron's decision, Sadie bitterly accuses Andrew of ruining her first proper romance.

Neighbours policeman Andrew Rodwell finds himself in danger next week as his brother's robbery plan goes horribly wrong.

Andrew faces a potentially deadly situation as he interrupts Felix's attempts to steal expensive materials from the Eirini Rising development.

Felix has spent the past few days plotting to target the building site and flee from Erinsborough in breach of his parole conditions.

The bad boy's scheme suffers its first major setback next week as gang leader Slade Westall is finally brought to justice.

Cara Varga-Murphy spots Slade lurking around Erinsborough and carries out a citizen's arrest, hauling him down to the police station.

This leaves Felix without his planned accomplice for the robbery job, but he's surprised when JJ Varga-Murphy offers to step in as a replacement.

Felix is unsure about dragging JJ into criminal activity and makes out that he has someone else in mind for the job.

Not to be deterred, JJ realises that Felix is lying and turns up for the robbery anyway. Felix finally agrees that JJ can be part of the risky plan.

Meanwhile, Holly Hoyland is surprised to find a map of Eirini Rising in a book that Felix bought for her. She explains her discovery to Andrew, who's obliged to investigate what it means.

Andrew approaches the building site just as Felix and JJ have completed the robbery.

An unfortunate misunderstanding sees JJ get into the van and knock over some scaffolding, which collapses on top of Andrew. Will he be okay?

Neighbours confirms lifeline for Sadie and Byron after horror accident
There's new hope for the couple.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a60384246/neighbours-sadie-byron-lifeline-accident/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours has confirmed that Sadie Rodwell and Byron Stone are to be given a lifeline following her dad?s horror accident.

Sadie and Byron have been keen to pursue a relationship, but Sadie?s parents Andrew and Wendy have made this difficult, as they disapprove of Byron?s past as a male escort.

Andrew even tried to take revenge on his daughter?s new beau by using his position in the police force to put an "unroadworthy" sticker on his car ? even though his tyres were perfectly fine.

As a result of this incident, Byron called time on the relationship and Sadie was left heartbroken, telling her dad that he has ruined her first proper romance.

Meanwhile, in scenes that aired today (April 3), Andrew tried to intercept his brother Felix?s plan to steal expensive materials from the Eirini Rising development.

However, as he approached the building, Felix?s accomplice JJ Varga-Murphy got into his van and knocked over some scaffolding ? which then collapsed on top of Andrew.

In scenes that will air on Tuesday (April 9), Andrew arrives home from hospital after receiving treatment and gets a surprisingly warm welcome from his daughter.

Sadie says that she doesn?t want to fight anymore, while Andrew admits that he went overboard with his reaction to Byron.

When Sadie reveals she's still concerned about the damage done to the relationship, Andrew visits Byron to try and repair this damage.

Andrew tells him that his has withdrawn the "unroadworthy" notice, and also reluctantly vows not to get in the way of him and Sadie, much to Byron?s surprise.

Sadie is grateful for her dad?s change of heart and is hopeful when she crosses paths with Byron, but she is hurt when Byron emits an awkward vibe in their conversation.

However, Sadie is thrilled when Byron later comes around and asks her for a second chance, with the pair back on course. What will the future hold for the couple?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a61107067/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-betrayal-rumours/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours star Shiv Palekar has fuelled rumours that Wendy Rodwell could betray her husband Andrew in upcoming episodes.

The actor, who plays Haz Devkar, mentioned Wendy's future while promoting some new storylines on Neighbours' social media channels.

Shiv has a semi-regular feature on Neighbours' social pages, which sees him appear in character as Haz and offer cryptic hints at future plots.

Speaking about Wendy in the latest edition, Shiv teased: "She was in the caf? the other day with a younger crowd.

"And out of one of them, there was a very handsome man that she was kind of cosying up to and I thought to myself: 'Wendy, surely not!'"

The storyline is expected to tie in with Wendy hitting the party scene when she starts university in the coming weeks.

Neighbours bosses have released spoiler pictures which show Wendy getting to know new character Quinn, played by actor Louis Le.

Wendy has a great time as she enjoys drinks with her new friends, but will she cross a line with Quinn or stay loyal to Andrew?

Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison recently promised some more big storylines for the Rodwell and Varga-Murphy families following the positive reaction they've received from fans in recent months.

He told Digital Spy: "I'm so happy that viewers have embraced the new families, although we did meet the Rodwells last season.

"There were a lot of new characters to get used to and it's a testament to the writers and the actors that they settled in so quickly. We wanted to put them at the forefront and we have long story arcs planned for both families."

Neighbours airs Wendy and Quinn's party scenes in early July.

Neighbours to reveal newcomer Quinn?s feelings for Wendy
They bond after a night of drinking.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a61237447/neighbours-quinn-wendy-feelings/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Next week?s episode of Neighbours will see newcomer Quinn reveal his feelings for Wendy Rodwell after the pair strike up a bond.

Wendy recently elected to enrol at the university, and will soon meet some younger friends as she embraces her new lifestyle.

In scenes set to air next Monday (July 1), Wendy will relive her youth as she heads for drinks with her new friends.

After getting to know her course-mates, including the likeable Quinn, Wendy?s night turns into a marathon as she stays out longer than she'd intended.

She pays the price the following morning, however, as she nurses a quite hefty hangover, with Cara and Sadie both seeing the funny side of the matter.

She could soon be back on the drinking trail, however, after Quinn invites her on a pub crawl. Aaron offers to cover Wendy?s shift, leaving her free to attend.

After she accepts the invitation, Quinn looks on with affection of his new friend ? could there potentially be a spark between him and Wendy?...

Should Wendy get closer to Quinn, this will surely have ramifications on her marriage with Andrew, a development that was teased by actor Shiv Palekar.

?She was in the caf? the other day with a younger crowd,? said Palekar, who plays Haz Devkar on the soap. ?And out of one of them, there was a very handsome man that she was kind of cosying up to and I thought to myself: 'Wendy, surely not!?

Executive producer Jason Herbison also teased the developments for both the Rodwell and Varga-Murphy families, saying: ?I'm so happy that viewers have embraced the new families, although we did meet the Rodwells last season.

Neighbours split fears revealed for Wendy and Andrew Rodwell
Wendy's secret causes big problems.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a61591071/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-andrew-split-fears/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours couple Wendy and Andrew Rodwell hit the rocks next week.

The pair's marriage comes under serious strain when Wendy is caught out for hiding the fact that she's married.

Ever since starting university as a mature student, Wendy has tried to fit in with the younger crowd. She has let her new friends believe that she's single and doesn't have any children.

Later this week, Wendy's lies start to backfire when her husband Andrew and daughter Sadie catch her hosting a wild house party.

Wendy reluctantly comes clean about her efforts to impress the other students by pretending to be younger. However, she still notably keeps quiet about how her friends don't know Andrew and Sadie exist.

In follow-on scenes next week, Cara Varga-Murphy accidentally says too much when she openly questions Andrew's forgiving stance.

Unaware that Wendy is still hiding the extent of her lies, Cara comments that she expected Andrew to be more upset over his wife pretending to be single at uni.

This revelation deeply upsets Andrew, even when Wendy brushes it off as a silly game that she was playing to fit in. Andrew disagrees, convinced that Wendy would have kept up the pretence for much longer if she hadn't been busted.

As Andrew pushes Wendy to explain her actions, she admits that it was fun to play out a different life scenario for a while. This makes Andrew feel worse, as he fears that he and Sadie don't exist in Wendy's dream life.

Later, Wendy worries that Andrew has left her when it's past midnight and he still hasn't returned home from work. She's unable to reach him for an explanation ? is she right to fear the worst?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, July 22.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to face prejudice in upsetting scenes
Wendy questions a major accomplishment.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a61680379/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-prejudice-story/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Wendy Rodwell will face prejudice in upsetting Neighbours scenes next week.

It has been a tumultuous year for Wendy, as she's faced marriage troubles with her husband Andrew Rodwell after pretending she was single to a new group of friends.

Wendy has tried to pursue a new path as a mature student at Erinsborough University where she faces discrimination in upcoming scenes.

As this new storyline begins, Wendy still feels guilty over her lies even though Andrew and daughter Sadie have assured her they are willing to move forward.

Wendy is asked to hang out with her younger group of friends once again, though they encourage her to be honest with them this time around.

Andrew once again offers support over Wendy's guilty feelings, reminding her she missed out on the uni experience earlier in life and deserves to have some fun now.

He even agrees to join Wendy and her friends for a drink, though this gesture only makes Wendy realise she wants to experience this new part of her life on her own.

Wendy eventually has a change in attitude when she's accepted into this new group of friends once again ? with Andrew being encouraged to join in too.

She then sets her sights on Erinsborough University's Gatsford Mentorship, admitting to Andrew and Cara Varga-Murphy that the award would boost her spirits.

All of Wendy's hard work on the project is rewarded when she's eventually announced as the winner of the Gatsford Mentorship.

Another university student, Heidi, soon makes prejudicial accusations that the entire Gatsford Mentorship was just a diversity ploy by the university's PR team to look good.

Wendy is taken aback by Heidi's discriminatory comment, so shuts down Andrew's attempts to celebrate her victory.

When Andrew clocks that Wendy is hiding something, she confesses that Heidi's hurtful words have left her wondering if she'd won the award on merit.

Cara tries to be supportive by suggesting Wendy file an official complaint, noting that she'd faced discrimination in her life as well because she's a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Her recommendation doesn't sway Wendy, who finally finds some understanding with friend Quinn Lao as they discuss the prejudice they face on a day-to-day basis.

These powerful scenes will be airing on Neighbours on Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31.

Neighbours' Wendy and Andrew Rodwell to hit the rocks over Quinn
Can their marriage survive?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a61965721/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-andrew-hit-rocks/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours airs a make-or-break moment for Wendy and Andrew Rodwell's marriage next week.

The couple try to talk things through as Andrew feels betrayed over Wendy's ongoing connection to Quinn Lao, her new university friend.

This week's episodes see Andrew and Sadie both spot tell-tale signs that Quinn is seeking more than just friendship with Wendy.

Andrew initially gives Wendy the benefit of the doubt, but he later confronts her and suggests that she can't be totally oblivious to Quinn's feelings.

Wendy admits that she did share a moment with Quinn recently, but she insists that it's nothing for Andrew to worry about.

When Wendy offers to give Andrew some space to process everything, she's surprised as he agrees that it's a good idea.

In follow-on scenes next week, Wendy gives herself a hard time for not setting clearer boundaries with Quinn sooner.

However, back at the Rodwell house, Andrew is already starting to wonder whether he may have overreacted.

Andrew ends up apologising to Wendy for letting her stay away from home overnight. He concedes that they should have talked through their issues openly and honestly.

Confiding fully in Andrew for the first time, Wendy clarifies that she hasn't been seeking to replace him with anyone else.

Wendy adds that she was searching for her authentic self and found her after starting university, as it was the first time she wasn't judged and felt accepted for who she is.

Andrew tries his best to understand Wendy's perspective as she suggests continuing to work through this crisis together.

Unfortunately for the couple, there could still be a rocky road ahead. Can Andrew and Wendy's marriage survive this?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to be confronted over new Quinn Lao secret
Andrew wants answers again.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a62221289/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-quinn-secret/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell has some explaining to do next week, as she's caught spending more time with her friend and potential love interest Quinn Lao.

Byron Stone is put in the difficult position of interfering in Wendy's marriage after spotting her sharing a hug with Quinn.

Wendy recently confessed to her husband Andrew about how she'd shared a moment with Quinn, a fellow student she'd bonded with at university.

Andrew was furious over the revelation, but later backed down when Wendy agreed that she wouldn't spend time with Quinn anymore.

This week's episodes see Byron realise that Wendy could still be lying to Andrew, as he witnesses a seemingly-cosy moment between her and Quinn.

In follow-on scenes next week, Byron speaks to his girlfriend Sadie about her mum's secret meeting.

The timing couldn't be worse, as Sadie is just starting to feel that her parents' marriage is getting back on track.

Sadie is forced to share Byron's discovery with both Wendy and Andrew, letting them fight it out from there.

Wendy informs Andrew that Quinn asked to see her about a study issue, so she reluctantly agreed to the meeting. She reiterates that her close friendship with Quinn is now over.

Andrew seems pacified once more when Wendy promises to let him know if she hears from Quinn again, but is he really as reassured as he's making out?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to be caught out again in hostage plot
Is this the final straw for Andrew?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a62273102/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-caught-out/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell fears the worst next week as she's caught secretly spending time with Quinn Lao yet again.

Wendy and Quinn's latest interaction is exposed as part of the dramatic hostage situation that takes place at The Waterhole in next Wednesday and Thursday's episodes (September 25 and 26).

A few weeks ago, Wendy promised her husband Andrew that she would cut fellow university student Quinn out of her life.

Wendy's vow came after she confessed to Andrew that she'd shared a charged moment with Quinn, although neither of them had acted on it.

Next week, Wendy repeats her promise to stay away from Quinn after being spotted in a brief conversation with him over a study-related matter.

A few days later, there are worrying times for Erinsborough's residents as Heath Royce's former bodyguard Justin arrives at The Waterhole to confront Holly Hoyland.

Justin orders Holly to hand over Heath's stolen money, and when she's unable to do so, a tense hostage situation unfolds inside the local bar.

Holly, Aaron Brennan, Susan Kennedy, Paul Robinson and Felix Rodwell are among the characters who find themselves trapped inside the building with a menacing Justin, who's armed with a gun.

Justin orders Aaron to lock the doors and instructs everyone to hand their phones over.

When police are alerted to the crisis, armed officers rush to the scene and try to negotiate the safe release of the hostages.

Andrew assures his daughter Sadie that they don't need to worry about Wendy as she wasn't inside The Waterhole when Justin turned up.

However, the truth is soon revealed to viewers when Wendy and Quinn are revealed to be hiding in the bar's office together.

When Andrew later finds out about this, he's cold towards Wendy as he feels that she has betrayed his trust again.

Wendy is overwhelmed and tearful after her terrifying ordeal, but Andrew fails to show much sympathy. Instead, he sternly demands to know what Wendy was doing with Quinn.

Could this be another nail in the coffin for the Rodwells' troubled marriage?

Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell to be rejected by Andrew after siege shock
Their marriage hits crisis point.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a62318853/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-rodwell-andrew-rejection/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours reveals an uncertain future for Wendy and Andrew Rodwell's marriage next week.

The couple struggle to get back on track following the revelation that Wendy was trapped with Quinn Lao during a siege at The Waterhole.

This week's episodes see Heath Royce's former bodyguard Justin hold several characters at gunpoint at the bar. The frightening incident comes as Justin tries to get Heath's stolen money back from Holly Hoyland.

As the drama unfolds, Wendy hides out in The Waterhole's office with Quinn.

Her husband Andrew is shocked when their presence is uncovered, as Wendy has repeatedly promised to stay away from Quinn following the recent romantic chemistry between them.

Next week, Wendy desperately tries to explain herself to Andrew but gets upset when he seems unwilling to hear her out.

When Andrew storms off rather than listen to Wendy, she's forced to confide in her daughter Sadie about what happened instead.

Sadie sympathises with her mum when Wendy explains that Quinn tricked her into meeting him again, claiming to be her next university mentor.

Wendy suggests to Andrew that she could apply to put an intervention order on Quinn in the hope that he stops pestering her.

Andrew harshly dismisses this, claiming that Wendy is the problem rather than Quinn.

The police sergeant goes on to complain that Wendy and Quinn's surprise presence at The Waterhole distracted him at a crucial moment when he was dealing with the hostage situation.

This caused Andrew to freeze up and humiliate himself in front of colleagues, and jeopardise the safety of those trapped inside the building.

As Wendy continues her attempts to make amends, she's left upset as Andrew keeps on rejecting her. Could their marriage be in serious trouble?

Yep I thought QUINN was gay too once we met the character.
Not stalking, going through a rough time with his family needed a friend. The two initially bonded over their background. Think ANDREW & SADIE are over reacting. SADIE needs to keep her mouth shut and stay out of her parents marriage. WENDY hasnt cheated, isnt cheating and should be able to pick her friends without her family meddling.

The unconfirmed speculation is that Candice (Wendy) has gone on maternity leave & possibly even left a bit earlier than they expected (which required storyline?s to be re-written a bit). But there doesn?t appear to be be any word on when/if she will return.

There is also speculation that with Wendy away (& Sadie moving into the share house, at least for a while) that Felix will move in with Andrew.

Neighbours confirms Erinsborough break for Andrew Rodwell
He hits the road next week.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a62861320/neighbours-spoilers-andrew-rodwell-erinsborough-break/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours airs a temporary departure for Andrew Rodwell next week as he decides to take a break from Erinsborough.

Andrew vows to spend some time travelling as he faces the reality of an empty house following recent developments involving his wife Wendy, daughter Sadie and brother Felix.

Wendy recently secured an opportunity in the town of Murrayville, which is hours away from Erinsborough. She decided that the timing was right following recent tensions in her marriage to Andrew.

Although Wendy would be away for a few months, she promised Andrew in a phone call that she remained totally committed to their marriage.

Meanwhile, Felix also recently departed Erinsborough, thwarting Andrew's hopes of them living together at Number 24 for a while.

Felix took on board the wishes of his son JJ, who wanted him to leave the area because his presence was causing too many problems for the Varga-Murphys.

In a case of good timing, Felix was presented with his own exciting opportunity when he was offered the chance to work with his church. After saying some heartfelt goodbyes, he left Erinsborough for good.

Elsewhere, this week's episodes see Sadie decide that she wants to stay on at the share house on a more permanent basis.

Sadie becomes the newest official resident at Number 32 alongside newcomer Max Ramsay.

In follow-on scenes next week, Sadie informs Andrew that she'll be signing onto the lease at Number 32 and living there on a long-term basis.

The news comes just as Andrew has received another update from Wendy, who seems to be settling in well in Murrayville.

Andrew is pleased to hear that his daughter and wife are both in good places with their independent choices ? and this inspires him to follow suit by doing something exciting for himself.

The Erinsborough policeman realises that he needs to switch off from recent stresses and spend some time alone, so he decides to take a long road trip to Murrayville.

Andrew makes plans to camp along the way to prolong the trip, enjoying life on the road. Will the break prove to be exactly what he needs?

Neighbours' Andrew Rodwell to face questions over flirty encounter
Max and Holly step in.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a64501584/neighbours-spoilers-andrew-rodwell-flirty-encounter/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours cop Andrew Rodwell is mortified next week as he realises that a glamorous Erinsborough newcomer is trying to tempt him.

Andrew receives a gentle warning from his neighbours when he seems oblivious to new character Sandra flirting up a storm.

The awkward situation unfolds at Andrew's self-defence class, which has become popular among the local community in recent weeks.

Sandra is one of the most dedicated members of the group ? but it's not just Andrew's expertise that she's interested in?

"Andrew is flattered when Sandra lavishes praise on him for the work he's been doing to boost everyone's confidence," our Neighbours source explains.

"In Andrew's eyes, Sandra's kind words seem innocent enough ? but Max and Holly are cringing over her attempts to create a romantic vibe between them."

After Max and Holly alert a clueless Andrew to what's really going on, he realises that he needs to take action before this situation gets out of hand.

Andrew awkwardly informs Sandra that he's a happily married man, so nothing could ever happen between them. Sandra is mortified to have misread the signals.

The mix-up unfolds as Andrew's wife Wendy reaches a crossroads in her career.

When Wendy carries out some casual teaching work at Erinsborough High, filling in for a regular member of staff, she holds out hope that it could lead to a permanent position.

Although Wendy's guest visit is a success, Jane Harris breaks the bad news to her that there isn't a permanent job on the table at the moment.

Wendy tries to stay positive and rightly so, as another opportunity soon comes her way. The only problem is that it's a permanent teaching post back in Murrayville.

"Wendy has only just come back from an extended stay in Murrayville and it's taken time to get her marriage back on track since then," our insider reminds us.

"Wendy heading back would raise the possibility of more long-distance challenges for her and Andrew ? or him having to sacrifice his job and move with her.

"Although Andrew tells Sandra that his relationship with Wendy is a happy one, this could be the exact opposite of the vibe that's about to develop between them?"

Popular Neighbours couple to hit breaking point over life-altering decision
An exciting new job opportunity could split Wendy and Andrew up.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a64551572/neighbours-spoilers-wendy-andrew-breaking-point/

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours favourite Wendy Rodwell is over the moon to land her dream job next week ? the only catch is that it's not in Erinsborough.

After being offered a teaching position in Murrayville, Wendy broaches the subject of moving there with hubby Andrew, and points out the many sacrifices she's made over the years to support his career. However, his response isn't quite what she hoped for?

"Andrew makes it clear that he's happy with his life in Erinsborough, so he can't just pack up and leave," our Neighbours source explains.

"Wendy really can't believe what she's hearing ? he refuses to even discuss the matter. But with Wendy determined to take the job, where does this leave them?"

Next week gets off to a shaky start for Wendy as she takes up a teaching placement at Erinsborough High. She can't believe how well-behaved her pupils are, though she's unaware that kindly Dex Varga-Murphy is doing his best to keep naughty classmate Ryan in line to make things easy for her.

When Ryan inevitably does kick off, Wendy steps in to successfully defuse the situation, sending her confidence soaring. However, she's later dealt a crushing blow when Jane Harris admits there's no permanent position available for her at Erinsborough High.

Wendy's spirits are soon lifted by the offer of a teaching role in Murrayville, and she's giddy at the prospect of finally getting her career off the ground.

Andrew's stubborn stance on them moving away leaves her frustrated, though, and worried how her marriage will survive the widening gap between them.

"Wendy has only just returned from an extended stay in Murrayville, so the news that she could be heading back is the last thing that Andrew wants to hear," our insider adds.

"It's a difficult moment for the couple ? Wendy is thriving with this new direction in her career, but Andrew doesn't want it to be at the expense of the life they've built for themselves on Ramsay Street."

As Wendy and Andrew continue to disagree about their future plans, it appears the couple have reached a stalemate. Will either of them be prepared to put their career on hold in order to save their marriage?
