Definitely the new builder. I think that they will be good together. Joe has just started to come to terms with losing his wife and Pauline is also a widow, so this would be a perfect start for them. I'm glad that Pauline is being put in a central role her character is becoming more interesting and having a man in her life will be good for her. Hopefully he will be strong enough to stand up to her thus providing potential for some great storylines for them both.

I think that Martin would get on with Joe after a while. Remember it took him sometime to warm to Derek..mind you he wasn't interested in Pauline (romantically) um..this is going to be interesting.

I think that the main reason Martin would be against his mum having a new man in her life and taking a dislike to Joe would be because of his dad Arthur. If Pauline was to become "involved" long term with someone I don't think Martin would be very happy and may even try to spilt them up. This would probably cause friction between Sonia and Martin.

BTW I like he idea of Pauline and Sonia having "girlie" chats about men!
