He was but Phil doesn't know that, if you remember Dennis pretended he was drunk and had an argument with Den, that's how Den came to take Phil along to the robbery, instead of Dennis. I don't think Phil ever found out Dennis had helped Den, he thought the fight was genuine. Phil's never got on with Dennis, but he's angry with him because of Kate (and now probably because of Sharon). I don't think the robbery really comes into it, however now Den's gone maybe he won't care which one of his family pays for it. He's not one to give up easily.

It was good viewing when Phil returned for two episodes in May before ending up in the nick, so with both the Mitchell brothers back we should see some great action from the Mitchells. Their return will also help EastEnders' viewing ratings no doubt.
