London eye

Hi people i went on the london eye today for the first time i felt sick and dizzt it wa horrible as anyone else been on it :sick:

I live in London, so obviously i go to westminster a lot. The London Eye is ace! Sure its a bit high, but you get the best views that you'll never get anywhere else. Having said thta, its a bit expensive, as with everything in London, so its better if there are offers in the Evening Standard or something.

The london shows are brill as well. They cost a fourtune, so i generally wait untill they tour the country, and go to a cheaper theatre in Oxford :D. I've seen about 12 of them by doing it that way

I love the London Dungeons as well. Kids love it, and it only takes about half a day, so its eaily fitted into a weekend away. It's not that expensive either, as its more in the back streets of London, so although people hear of it, its harder to get to.

I've been shopping in London, on Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regents Steet hundreds and hundreds of times. Seriously, you cant find anywhere better.

I do live in London but just never got around to going there :p I seen everything but and even been like 5 cm away form it but never went on it!! I really would like to go though!!

its always like that, you dont go to the things in your city, but you go to things in other cities. thats why i have been to all the attractions in london, but not in manchester!!

Hi Tangliss i think they do a special offer on fridays but if you go on the net and you can check out the prices their i think it is called ticket master were you look because i didnt pay for the tickets babe so i dont know but it is certainly worth the money i think if you like singing and dancing that type of think you will defiantly like it :cheer: :cheer:

I've been on the London Eye I hate heights though so I was freaked out I managed after begging him to get the husband to re-enact the scene where Jim proposes to Dot he got down on one knee and I by this point was hysterical and I ended up ruining it :)

I said I was an 'EastEnders' fanatic and she said she was a fan too she kept howling on her partners shoulder. Funny thing she was as well we took a picture of them and they took one of us doubt we'll ever see them again though!

the london eye is ok.......its not that great. It didn't make me feel ill or anything but it just didn't really ineterest me. And when your in a pod with a group of morons and only 1 freind to share it with it isn't that enjoyable. But the views and stuff were fab! We went in the evening when the sky was like orange but it was still fun!
