Craig and Eugene attempted to repair their relationship today by having a lengthy chat about why they don't get on.

"A problem I have in the House is that a lot of people are jumped up," said Eugene.

But Craig thought it was their funny bones that were the problem. "I think this is the root of our problem. Our humours are different," suggested Craig.

Craig used the example of Eugene's skipping lesson. He couldn't see anything funny in it. "But I'm wrong to think badly of someone because I don't think they're funny," he said.

Eugene explained that it wasn't supposed to be funny. "I was trying to learn to skip. It was extremely irritating having everyone laughing and pointing. Telling me to have another go so they could laugh at me. I found it quite hurtful," he confessed.

Please don't repeat that phrase ever again

"At the end of the day," said Craig, "I don't let people laugh at me. It is not nice because, at the end of the day, it is not comedy. It is looking at somebody and thinking what they are doing is funny," he explained, bafflingly.

"A lot people said you're a geek," Craig continued. "I said, he's not a geek he's a very intelligent person. It's very easy to brand people. It's easy to brand me as gay and you as a geek. That is why I'm apologising, at the end of the day."

Meanwhile Makosi was with Derek in the garden, where she told him she would try and save Eugene from Craig's conversation by calling him.

Eugene went to see what she wanted, told her the time and asked Craig if he saw what he meant by "jumped up" people.

What was Makosi thinking of, interrupting Eugene with his new best mate?
