OK this is going to sound very strange and honestly i am not going mad and hearing voices.

Today on my computer sounds have been coming through my speakers first it was sweety the chick singing and now it's a quote from little britian or something like that and it wont stop!!!! :angry:

The only things i am connected to is soapboards, checkmated and msn. I have tried shutting it down and restarting but after about five minutes it starts again!!! :wall:

I am currently running a virus scan but just thought id post and see if anyone else has had this problem??

Sounds like a virus, are you sure you haven't downloaded any sound related programs recently??

Not that i know of and no one else has been using my computer.

GR said to try microsoft antispyware but i cant get it because i am on windows me!!

Anyone know any others i could use

Norton AntiVirus and also Ad-Aware SE Personal I use :)

No problem. I know 3 is alot but I haven't had a virus since 1 and a half years!!

I got Windows 2000 but my dad used this tiny device he bought which cleans the comuter away form harmful things and stores in Microsoft AntiSpyware, its great :D

Will do and XP is getting ordered as we speak. The speakers have been turned down if i hear "i know i know" one more time :angry:

Got it fixed thanks GR and Spicy for your help!!!! It was a virus. Can now turn my speakers up lol. XP has been ordered finally lol

make sure you do a clean install of xp and not just update win me. You'll get a ton of problems if you do that.
