Kat puts Phil's phone on silent so they can have some alone time. However, when Phil later sees that he has missed calls, he gets angry and blames Kat.
Later, Phil makes the big decision to break up with Kat as he can't bring himself to tell her the truth about his sentence.
Meanwhile, Stuart's surgery is explained to him by a doctor. Stuart is keen to proceed as soon as possible, but worries when pain medication is mentioned. Later, Stuart confides in Mick about how he fears he's being punished for his past.
Elsewhere, Mick gives Scarlett a special present and lies that it was Janine's idea, wanting to help Janine win favour with her daughter.
Also today, Bailey makes a plan when she spots Karen and Mitch arguing over their sleeping situation.

Sharon is determined to find out why Phil ended things with Kat. Phil explains that he's facing life in prison.
When Sharon finds out that Phil hasn't told Kat this, she threatens to let her know unless Phil does it himself.
Meanwhile, Ben and Callum open up and promise to be there for each other. At the same time, Rainie panics about Stuart.
Elsewhere, Chelsea is upset that she won't be able to breastfeed as she has been put on anti-depressants. Gray manipulates Chelsea's emotions over this, so she decides not to take the pills after all. Whitney worries as it's clear that Gray's influence over Chelsea is growing.
Also today, Mitch warns Bailey that she can't force him and Karen to fall in love.

After pressure from Sharon, Phil finally tells Kat the truth.
Meanwhile, Kheerat tells Whitney that he has managed to arrange a flat for Chelsea and Jordan. He also arranges a pamper session for Chelsea to enjoy with her family.
Later, while at the hospital, Kheerat tries to get Gray to confess. Unfortunately, his efforts are threatened when the doctor interrupts them.
Elsewhere, Mitch hopes Karen is talking about him when she praises the delivery man she has been flirting with.
Also today, Jean inadvertently gives some terrible advice.

Gray admits to Kheerat that he thinks he deserves what has happened.
Kheerat takes this as a sign that Gray is close to confessing, but Gray is distracted by a big decision when the doctor interrupts again.
Meanwhile, Ben has a flashback of the attack.
Elsewhere, Harvey informs Jack that the Monroes will be leaving Walford soon, lying that it's because his mum is unwell.
Later, Dana calls in sick to Peter and fails to hang up the phone properly. Peter overhears the conversation she has with Mila and Kioni.
Also today, Stacey starts her new job and Martin finally admits that he turned down the role first.
