A guilty Max is feeling sorry for himself after the accident, believing that his father doesn’t want to see him until Sadie points out that Max has always been his dad’s favourite.

Encouraged by Sadie’s support Max agrees to visit Tom in hospital but will he receive the reception he is hoping for?

Simon confesses to Rodney that he has no choice but to sell his business. Rodney offers to help, but Simon is adamant that he’ll sort the mess out on his own. Rodney demands Simon should tell Nicola about the business failing as she is blissfully unaware and continuing to shop for items for their new home.

Delilah demands that her services at the factory are made legitimate leaving Val with no option but to tell Pollard she’s been working for him. Will Pollard have a Dingle on his payroll?


Monday, 8th August 2005 at 19:00
Rodney is angry to hear that Simon hasn’t told Nicola the bad news and so tells her himself. Nicola is furious that Simon has lied to her.

Lesley later tells Nicola that Simon has had to sell his share of the restaurant as well as losing the fishmongers business. On hearing that Nicola knows his secret, Simon feels extremely guilty. The couple look set to split up unless Rodney and Lesley can make them come to their senses.

Emily is finds looking after the Dingles single handedly a strain so decides to draw up a cleaning rota. Delilah flies into a rage calling Emily pathetic and tells her she’d have more fun if she was dead. Emily is shaken up but is grimly determined to continue with the rota.

Meanwhile, at the factory, Delilah sets up a plan to make Pollard appreciate Val more. She gives her the number of a man who owns a mill in Bradford, who can get her better fabric but for the same price, providing she doesn’t give Delilah’s name.


Tuesday, 9th August 2005 at 19:00
Lesley and Rodney join forces to remind Nicola and Simon that they love each other and Lesley is in fact to blame for Simon’s losses. The two are initially defiant that their relationship is over but their parents are determined to get them back together, will they reconsider?

Meanwhile, at the Dingles, Emilyis getting increasingly frustrated by the household’s attitude to her rota but seeing that Debbie is upset by the end of her relationship with Andy agrees to do her chores for her.

Daz pays Debbie a visit but is terrified to see Cain. Cain takes the opportunity to wind him up and a scared Daz sharply leaves. Debbie appears at the bottom of the stairs, seeing him run off and is suspicious of what Cain has said to him.


Wednesday, 10th August 2005 at 19:00
Debbie is determined to find out what has been going on and confronts Daz who reluctantly confesses that he stabbed Jimmy and that Cain beat Andy up during the fire.

Debbie vows that Cain will not get away with it and Daz is worried about what will happen to him. Debbie confronts Cain about Andy’s attack and is furious with him and she warns him off scaring Daz. However, Cain is having none of it and says if she doesn’t keep her mouth shut Daz will be going to prison.

Meanwhile, Simon is planning to get a job so that he and Nicola are not just relying on her income. Their relationship seems to be improving as they bond over painting the house.


Thursday, 11th August 2005 at 19:00
Cain is irritated when Jack arrives with Andy to take Sarah away for the morning.

Later on in the day Cain bumps into Daz and Andy in the village. Cain is displeased to see Andy playing happy families and grabs him in a threatening manner. He is only put off when Daz and Jack interfere.

Later again, Robert continues to seek his revenge on Andy and offers Cain a job at the garage.

Dawn is frustrated to see that Scott is not responding to her affections and seems more comfortable in Kelly’s company.

Meanwhile, Sadie bumps into Sam and he tells her he is going to be a dad. The intimate chat between the two friends causes Alice concern.


Friday, 12th August 2005 at 19:00
Robert is starting to wonder whether taking on Cain was a good idea as he is proving hard to control.

Debbie visits Robert at the garage later to check up on her dad. Robert tells her Cain isn’t that bad, in an attempt to win her over. Debbie leaves feeling happy and Robert is satisfied that he might get what he wants from hiring Cain.

On hearing that Dawn wants to cook Scott a special lunch, Kelly promptly goes to visit Scott and gets him to invite her along. Dawn realises what Kelly is up to and welcomes her with open arms. As this wasn’t the reaction Kelly had hoped for, she realises she will have to work harder to upset Dawn and sets about doing so.

Meanwhile, Viv is disgusted to see Bob canoodling with Avril. Bob pulls away, trying to diffuse the situation, but Avril continues to try to wind Viv up.

also why is alice jelous of sadie and sams friendship? she doesnt honestly think it could be more then friends surely!!?
