EastEnders' Joel Beckett has revealed that he was a poor sex symbol as he refused to appear semi-nude.

Beckett, who played Jake Moon in the soap, asked producers to rewrite a scene in which he was scripted to appear semi-naked, reports FemaleFirst.co.uk.

He is quoted as saying: "I was supposed to do a scene wearing nothing but a towel the size of a small handkerchief.

In the end, they let me do it with a T-shirt on. My stomach could definitely do with toning up. No amount of airbrushing could make it look good!"

I can't stop thinking about what we're missing out on..I have this vision in my head of Joel wearing that Handkerchief, which I should imagine would only just cover his "modesty"!! especially as it has been described as the size of a "small" handkerchief!

Speaking of the also hunky D (Dennis) we've seen his bod lots but we haven't seen him wearing nothing but a hankershief YET!!

Maybe the actors will start daring each other to do "saucy" scenes to see who'd appear wearing the "smallest hanky"!! Hopefully this will encourage gorgeous sexy Joel to join in and give us a flash..

Joel says in a recent interview that he keeps fit and eats healthly, training for london marathon, so he really cant be that bad underneath the shirt! Maybe he will change his mind before he goes. That would be a great.

I have also heard that Joel runs marathons, so I reckon he must be very fit and I keep looking everytime he's on and cannot see what is wrong with his tum. He looks in very good shape to me.
