Think you mean she never fails to please. ;) Same for me, excellently written and acted! Based on the same style as Line of Duty and produced by the same company. I cannot wait for the next episode.

I'm really enjoying it to, and Suranne Jones is always excellent in whatever she is in.
Going to have to catch up with last night's episode today though as my TV signal is still naf because of that transmitter fire, and no matter what I did I ended up with a fuzzy screen. Sods law that it was only doing it on BBC and then it decided to start working again at 10pm

Sadly I have to disagree with you all about Vigil.

The acting is first class but the storyline should never have been set on a submarine. The Submarine Service is not known as the Silent Service for nothing. It stretches reality to have the ship's crew belting out The Naval Hymn at full blast accompanied by loud piped music. Im sure it could be heard all the way back in Vladivostock. The sheer size of the accommodation on board is incredible and no hot bedding! Come on. The same story could have taken place on land and it would have at least been plausible.
