Is she always so pale or are they making her up that way. Just looking at her all that extra pressure will send her to the hospital. I did feel for her when Johnny was giving her money and trying to organise her to be driven wherever she needed to go - the Tube was an adventure for her- couldn't he see that ? And when will he learn he doesn't need to buy his daughter just show her some real affection?

Yes I do like Ruby a lot. It's the first teenager we have had (since Sonia Jackson who is an adult now) that doesn't live up to the stereotype that ee have portrayed with characters like Stacey (even though I like her), Demi and Darren.

It's great to see a young teenager who doesn't go and steal and exemplify the typical tearaway. She like many other adolescents seems level headed and her problems are integrated within her family, which I feel is very common among adolescents today.

I think her character will continue to develop as the storyline concerning her, Johnny and her departed sister and mother continues to enfold. The rapport between her and Stacey is great and you can see that though their interaction. They certainly gel well.

Yeh i've noticed this to! I think all i've seen johnny do is pat ruby on the back or it might of been her head, but they seem very distant!
