Wed & Thurs spoilers added. Thursday's triple episode is the Aust 'Olympic cliffhanger' & I understand that it has been confirmed that H&A will not air in Aust for the 2 weeks of the Olympics (so I assume no spoilers for the next few weeks).

(The promo we saw after this Thursday's episodes in Sydney showed Dean's car crashing/rolling several times & literally ending up on the edge of a cliff, with supposedly him & Ziggy inside (or is it Nik & Bella?) - hopefully this promo will be on YouTube soon...)

Digital Spy article on the 'cliffhanger':

Home and Away reveals huge car crash cliffhanger ahead of show break in Australia
But who is inside the vehicle?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a37043408/home-and-away-spoilers-car-crash-cliffhanger/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian and UK viewers.

Home and Away will see a devastating car crash take place in next week's episodes on Australian screens, ahead of its upcoming break.

The latest Channel 7 trailer for the Summer Bay soap shows Dean Thompson's car dramatically wrecked, but it's unclear who is inside the vehicle.

In the same promo, Ziggy Astoni is seen being approached by Dean, who suggests that the pair should leave together. Is it possible that the two of them are involved in the crash?

There's plenty more drama in store too, including Bella Nixon making it clear she doesn't want Nikau Parata around and an unknown person holding an engagement ring with perhaps a proposal in mind.

Lastly, Nikau and Ari have a massive bust-up.

Next week's episodes make up the show's midseason finale. The show is taking a hiatus due to Channel 7 having the rights to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which kick off on Friday, July 23.

The UK is currently six weeks behind, and so Channel 5 viewers will see these scenes play out in September.

No break is likely in the UK over the summer, meaning that the Channel 5 broadcast will begin to catch up with episodes in Australia.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

EXCLUSIVE: Who will make it out of Home and Away's terrifying deadly car crash alive?
Are we about to lose a fan favourite?

https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/home-and-away/home-and-away-who-is-in-the-crash-68396

On a lonely stretch of road, a kangaroo bounds in front of a car, causing the vehicle to swerve wildly.

The car careens off a steep hill, launching into the sky before rolling and rolling down an embankment and finally coming to a shuddering stop right on the edge of a cliff.

As smoke rises from the mangled wreck, there are, worryingly, no signs of life.

This is the terrifying moment ? literally a cliffhanger - that will leave Home And Away fans perched on the edge of their chairs in the show's final episode before it breaks for the Olympics.

Who's in the car when it crashes? And did they survive?

We can't answer either of those questions right now, but what we can tell you is the life of more than one Summer Bay favourite is on the line when the driver loses control.

For fans, it will be an agonising wait throughout the Olympics before they know the fate of those involved in crash.

And here's something else we can tease you with: this emergency will see an exciting new character enter the series.

We can say those involved in the terrible accident have loved ones in the Bay who will be left shattered by the terrible incident.

And those in the crash are either in relationships, were previously a couple or want to be together.

They include former lovers Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O'Connor), Tori (Penny McNamee) and Christian (Ditch Davey), Jasmine (Sam Frost) and new cop Cash (Nicholas Cartwright), Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) and Mia (Anna Samson) and Bella (Courtney Miller) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo).

Who do you think is caught up in the mangled wreck?

Home and Away reveals three passengers in shock car crash
Who's in danger?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a37103987/home-and-away-spoilers-car-crash-passengers-july-2021/

Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has revealed which characters are involved in the show's shock car crash.

The show aired its mid-season finale in Australia on Thursday (July 22) and ended with a huge cliffhanger, as the lives of three Summer Bay regulars were left hanging in the balance.

The dramatic episode saw Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) do a runner from Summer Bay after his latest attempt to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend Bella Nixon backfired.

Nikau was pleased when Bella decided that they should talk for the first time since he cheated on her with Sienna Blake. However, Nikau messed up by trying to kiss Bella, causing her to rush off as he'd overstepped the mark.

When Nikau faced a backlash from his uncle Ari, who claimed that his late father would be ashamed of him, he decided to leave the family home. Ari warned him not to bother coming back if he really planned to go.

The next morning, after spending the night in a small town out in the bush, Nikau had a change of heart and called Ari's partner Mia Anderson (Anna Samson), needing someone to pick him up. Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) agreed to help and drove Mia to collect Nikau.

On the trip back, disaster struck while Dean, Mia and Nikau were all in the car together.

Dean swerved the vehicle due to a kangaroo straying out into the road. His car spiralled out of control, coming off the road, rolling down a hill and flipping several times. Nikau was flung out of the vehicle before it stopped.

The vehicle ultimately came to a stand-still in a perilous position, right on top of a cliff.

The fates of Nikau, Mia and Dean won't be revealed until next month, as Home and Away is now taking a two-week break in Australia due to Channel 7's Olympics coverage.

Fans may also wonder what this means for Mia's unborn baby. She's currently pregnant with Ari's child after a number of previous tragic losses.

Home and Away fans in the UK will see the car crash on Channel 5 in September.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Home and Away reveals car crash aftermath as lives hang in the balance
Will the trio make it out?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a37110460/home-and-away-car-crash-aftermath-nikau-dean-mia/

Home and Away has teased what's to come following yesterday's huge car crash, revealing that "lives hang in the balance".

In Australia yesterday evening (Thursday, July 22), the long-running series aired a triple bill that saw Nikau Parata, Dean Thompson and Mia Anderson get into a horrific accident, after swerving to try and miss a kangaroo on the road.

The former was thrown out of the vehicle and the others were trapped inside as it teetered on a cliff's edge and in the soap's latest teaser, news of the event has made its way back to Summer Bay.

As Nikau's uncle Ari frets about Mia (Anna Samson) and the pair's unborn baby, Bella Nixon worries about ex-boyfriend Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) and Dean (Patrick O'Connor), concerned she'll never get the chance to tell Nikau that she still loves him.

The pair split due to Nikau cheating on her with Sienna Blake and had an awkward exchange more recently when she rebuffed him after he tried to kiss her during a friendly chat.

Back at the crash site, an injured Nikau attempts to flag down a passing car, but he collapses not long after he starts waving. Later, the promo glimpses Dean almost flatlining in an ambulance and Nikau looking in bad shape in hospital, while Mia's condition is deliberately kept in the dark.

The trailer also introduces Harley Bonner as Dr Logan Bennett, who's involved in the rescue scenes.

All of the scenes mentioned above are scheduled to air in Australia in two weeks' time, following the Tokyo-based Olympics, and in September in the UK.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

DS article:

Home and Away reveals new spoilers after huge car crash cliffhanger
There are hospital vigils, new romances and a wedding on the way.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a37127662/home-and-away-trailer-car-crash-cliffhanger/

Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has revealed a number of new spoilers ahead of its return to Australian screens in two weeks time, dropping a dramatic trailer ? which you can watch above ? which teases what is to come when the show returns to screens.

The soap is currently taking a mid-season break in Australia while Seven airs the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which has meant that viewers have been left in suspense following the shocking car crash cliffhanger which aired last week.

The last time Oz viewers were in Summer Bay, they witnessed a horrifying accident as a car carrying Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor), Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) and Mia Anderson (Anna Samson) careered off the road and rolled down a hill, before coming to a stop on top of a cliff.

The soap's new trailer reveals further details on the immediate aftermath of the crash, with emergency vehicles and helicopters arriving on the scene. We get our first glimpse of new doctor Logan Bennett (played by former Neighbours star Harley Bonner) as he rushes to treat the crash victims, before he shouts that seriously injured Dean needs moving to hospital immediately.

There is no sign of Mia or Nikau in the crash aftermath, so fans will need to wait longer to find out what might happen to them...

The trailer hints that there could be trouble ahead for couple Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) and Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) following Ziggy's ex Dean's horror accident, as Ziggy is seen sitting by Dean's bedside and telling him that she forgives him for "everything" following his cover-up of Colby Thorne's murder of Ross Nixon.

While Ziggy waits at Dean's bedside, her boyfriend Tane is left watching them through the hospital door. With Dean and Ziggy having shared a kiss shortly before the crash, is Tane's relationship with Ziggy on the rocks?

However, Tane could be cheered up by a new arrival in the Bay, who we get our first look at in the trailer. Former Neighbours star Jacqui Purvis has joined the cast as Felicity Newman, a confident woman who we first see dancing on a bar in a club. When Tane walks into the club, she wastes no time in asking him if he's single ? and it seems she might have caught his eye too.

Whether there will be any kind of relationship between Felicity and fellow new arrival Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), beyond sharing a surname, remains to be seen.

Fellow new arrival Logan, a trauma surgeon who is looking for a fresh start in the Bay, might have a dramatic entrance as he gets caught up in the car crash aftermath, but it looks like he'll also find some time for fun as he catches the eye of Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir), as they are seen flirting on the beach in the trailer.

There's more romance in the air in the Bay, too, as Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) seems to be getting closer to new policeman Cash. After some initial reluctance, she agrees to "one date" with him ? and she is later seen calling him "officially my hero".

Finally, there's joy for Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) and Christian Green (Ditch Davey) as they tie the knot. The happy couple are seen standing in front of their family and friends at their wedding ceremony, before Tori says: "Let's get married".

Home and Away will return to Australian screens on Monday, August 9 on Seven. The soap continues to air as usual in the UK on Channel 5, with the car crash due to air in September.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
