Jane tells Ian she is pregnant to test his reaction to a baby and it backfires on her and they have a massive row.
Sounds great albeit a bit of a mad thing to do!

It happenes tonight I think, and Ian tells Jane that he has had a vasectony so it couldn't be his and the massive row begins when Ian tells her that he dosen't want to have any more children.
I miss it as I am at a sleepover and my friend thinks all soaps are rubbish with terrible storylines (she's never watched one!). Poor Jane, why would you want Ian's baby?

Jane desparately wants a baby of her own as she couldn't have children with husband David due to his ilness. She loves Ian for his kindness towards her in the few months that David's condition worsened before he died of Pnemonia last new years eve.

Well they are happy together and it's nice to see Jane happy even if it is with Ian Beale.
no wonder it backfires on her,hes had a vasectomy so what else it he going to think apart from shes obviously been with someone else.

Did you see it on Friday? When Jane said to sonia "i'm going to do it, I'm going to have Ian's babY"!!!! it was so rediculous - talk about discussing it with your partner first. she sounded like a teenager!
And i can't believe that he hasn't told her about the vasectomy - should be good tonight!

Personally I think it's a boring and very predictable storyline to be honest, I could see this coming a mile off.
I thought Jane already knew about Ian's vasectomy. Didn't she say to Sonia at Bobby's 2nd Birthday party. It was something like:
Sonia: Haven't you ever thought about having any of your own?
Jane: Ian's had a vasectomy though.
Sonia: It's an easily reversed operation these days....
It dosen't make any sense that Jane says that she's pregnant because she knows that Ian's had a vasectomy.
She must know what happened to him and Laura when she fell pregnant. He dropped her like a sack of tatties!!!! There is no point in her doing this
it is possible that he could get her pregnant after having the snip
No his test came back clear! He got Laura pregnant before this test was done
i know someone who got thier new wife pregnant 15 years after having the snip! they had to have dna tests done and it is his kid!!!
Ian's last sperm count was 0 though, so the operation must have worked.
i really don't trust doctors!!!
but i am sure they will find someway to get her pregnant!! there is a porcedure where they go directly to the scource (with a really big needle) i am so glad i am not a man!!

i actually like the character of ian beale i think he deserves a bit of happiness and jane is really nice, i would like them to have a baby. maybe they will go for ivf and have quads or something!!!

Because she in unsure how he will react....maybe not the best way to let him know though
At the end of the day the storyline is completely different because Jane hasn't slept with anybody else and got pregnant and Ian loves Jane as his ONE TRUE love although it's debatable whether or not that was Cindy as well! Or even Laura who helped him through his bankruptcy. Not sure about Mel being a true love to Ian more of a classy wife to show off?

It has only been confirmed that Ian has his vasectomy reversed so that he and Jane can try for a baby. It hasn't been confirmed that Jane actually gets pregnant.

Some manage to hang on until full term though. They mainly have complications and have to be rushed in though although if they think we won't notice some go in early like it's the normal birth happening at the normal time.
