Orlaith had a last word with Big Brother before leaving the House and that word was Derek.
Walking out of the House yesterday the blonde beauty said that she was really happy to be going and outlined her reasons. "I've been made to feel inadequate. The first couple of weeks were fantastic but there was one person that made me feel inadequate. That was Derek. He got people to not like me. He was very manipulative. I don't know where I got the strength from to last the last three weeks."
Orlaith feared that if she had stayed, she would have been subject to more pressure from Derek. "He was going to work me again this week. He's a bully and I don't do bullies," she said.
When Big Brother asked her if Derek was aware of how she felt, she responded: "He doesn't mean anything to me so I shouldn't waste my breath on him. He's made my time in here unbearable. He was working in my brain."
However, when asked if she would have stayed if Derek wasn't in the House, she said she wouldn't have.
Asked if she had embraced the Big Brother experience. She felt she had. She enjoyed all the tasks and the entrance through the Secret Garden and was happy with everything she'd done.
She was asked if she felt any guilt at walking. "No," she stated. "I would love to be there for Makosi, but I'm doing this for me."
So who did she want to win? "Craig or Anthony," she answered immediately. "They deserve it more than anyone. They're honest and genuine and they stay up late. Sleeping is cheating."
Of the two she thought Anthony would run off with the prize. But she had one last comment about Derek.
"Derek said many times he wanted to leave, but he doesn't have the strength or courage, " she signed off.
