Charlie's Angels actress Drew Barrymore has advised Lindsay Lohan to stay sensible and not "get sucked into the bulls**t" as she grows up in Hollywood.
As well as being criticised for her wild partying lifestyle, the Mean Girls actress has been forced to deny US tabloid reports that she may have an eating disorder.
"I know what's it's like, but nowadays it is even worse," eecho.ie quotes Barrymore as saying.
"Whatever she wants to be and whatever she wants to do, she will choose that for herself. There are parts of this business that are real and there are parts that aren't. So I'd love to tell her to play by her own rules, but don't get sucked into the bulls**t.
"I respect the fact she's doing it under a microscope, but she has to remember that at the end of the day she is in control of her own destiny. I always think how I will affect others by what I do and these girls should do the same
