TV Week article:

"Paul has made it very clear he doesn't like Brent as a suitor for granddaughter Harlow. After facilitating his arrest for the robbery at The Hive, Paul surprised everyone by hiring Toadie as the young man's lawyer, fulfilling a secret deal he made with Brent's mother Jenna.

The deal was struck so Jenna could feel confident about Brent's welfare while she moved to New Zealand with Emmett (Brent's half brother). But for Paul, it was more about securing a better future for Emmett rather than caring about Brent.

While Brent is grateful to Paul, he doesn't know he is about to go behind his back in an attempt to get rid of him. Paul can only see ongoing destruction of Harlow's character if the relationship continues and sees Brent as a bad egg who will corrupt his granddaughter.

Paul visits gang leader Holden in prison and blackmails him to change his story and paint Brent as the head of the gang instead. He threatens Holden with greater consequences if he doesn't tell authorities that all the gang's nefarious doings were led by Brent. In return, Paul will put away a good chunk of cash in a trust for Holden to 'have a nice life' once he is out of jail.

When Harlow learns Holden has changed his story, she's devastated and turns to her grandfather for comfort. Paul is genuinely at a loss when he witnesses how crushed Harlow is, with Brent in remand with possible jail time - all because of his actions. Obviously, he can't tell her the truth, but he doesn't know how to fix this - yet.

Will Paul be able to get Brent out of Harlow's life for good? Will he ruin his relationship with Harlow in the process?"

Yep Paul just never learns to just leave his kids/ grand kids run their own lives and always pays a price.

I like the match up of Hendrix and Mac they make a nice couple- she's not as judgmental as Harlow and Hendrix will treat her with more respect than Richie
