TV Week article:

"Sacked on the Spot

Last week Bea came across a dossier with Ned's name on it, while servicing newcomer Sheila Canning #2's car. Bea decides to risk her career by taking the dossier and is horrified by what she finds inside.

The documents contain his entire life and private information. Her initial reaction is to tell Yashvi what she has found and why Sheila has it in her possession. As Bea shares her suspicions with Yashvi and Roxy, Sheila #2 overhears and is none too impressed. She explains there was nothing sinister - she was merely researching Ned's past before offering him a job as manager of The Hive, which she hopes to buy.

A mortified Bea braces herself to come clean to boss Lucas and explain why she took a client's private property. But when she arrives at the garage, she discovers her boyfriend Levi has already told Lucas why she acted as she did. He's disappointed by Bea's unprofessional behaviour and gives her the sack.

The garage was Bea's safe place, somewhere that helped her get on her feet and gave her purpose. Now it's been taken away from her. Although Levi's intentions were good, Bea is furious. Their relationship has already been through the wringer; will this be her last straw?"

Another TV Week article:

"Sexy Secret

When Melanie started working as Toadie's assistant, it was clear there was tension between them from the get go. Colleague Mackenzie thought the tense vibe was because Toadie was being too hard on her, but the real reason was far juicier.

Toadie and Melanie had chemistry early on and the pair have something they can't deny any longer. The spark between them quickly become a flame as the two begin an office tryst, doing their best to keep their rendezvous from Mackenzie and the rest of Erinsborough.

They choose to keep it their little secret because sneaking around is part of the fun. Although the pair get a kick out of their clandestine goings-on, they've almost been caught out on occasion. While they're amused by the times they've come close to being found out, a very near miss with Terese makes them realise they're going to have to be more careful about keeping their liaison under wraps.

Will Melanie and Toadie's sexy little secret be revealed? "

Not really enjoying the Shield #2/Ned story. Hopefully all becomes clear because going between high-powered real estate broker/investor and potential stalker is a bit strange.

Also, Toad and Melanie.. not keen on that, either. Early days though.

Digital Spy article:

Neighbours explains Lucas Fitzgerald return as Scott Major makes guest appearance
What next for Bea Nilsson?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a36199850/neighbours-spoilers-lucas-fitzgerald-return/

Neighbours spoilers follow from Australian episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Neighbours has aired Lucas Fitzgerald's return in Australia, as Scott Major's guest appearance is explained.

10 Peach viewers have seen Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) recently stealing a folder from the new Sheila Canning (Shareena Clanton) while servicing her car. Although Bea did it to look out for her friend Ned Willis (Ben Hall), Sheila found out and was understandably angry.

Thursday's episode saw the consequences of Bea's decision, as Lucas returned to Erinsborough to check on the garage after Sheila left a one-star review.

Sheila didn't specify the reason behind the one-star rating in her review, and so Bea spent the episode worried about her boss potentially finding out about her unprofessional behaviour.

Bea opened up to her boyfriend Levi Canning (Richie Morris) about the situation, although things were a little tense between them as he disapproved of what she did.

Levi later visited the garage hoping to apologise to Bea. He introduced himself to Lucas, and was under the assumption that Bea had already come clean to her boss.

Meanwhile, Bea visited Sheila at The Hive to apologise again. The apology did not go down well, but she was pleasantly surprised when Sheila later called to tell her that she had taken down the one-star review.

Bea returned from her break to be confronted by Lucas and lied about the review.

Lucas revealed he knew all about Bea stealing from Sheila's belongings, and was further unimpressed that she had tried to cover it up. He said he found out from Levi before firing her.

The firing marks a big change in Bea's life, and with the character set to leave the soap in the next couple of months, it appears that this might be the beginning of her exit storyline.

Elsewhere, Jenna Donaldson (Anna Lise Phillips) returned to Ramsay Street in a storyline that could lead to her son Emmett's (Ezra Justin) departure.

Now sober and doing well, Jenna was contacted by Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and after reuniting with Emmett, she told him as well as his foster parents David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) and Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) that she wanted to step up as a mother again.

Jenna suggested Emmett could move with her to New Zealand. But with Brent still missing, what will Emmett decide?

These scenes air in the UK in four weeks' time.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Friday's episode featured a weird moment.

In the pub when the two Sheila's are talking, there is a bottle of hand sanitiser and some wipes behind Original Sheila. Then Sheila 2 talks about the state borders closing and not being able to attend a funeral.

This might be the first time they have hinted at the thing we've all been living with for over a year. It isn't too long ago that Kyle was flying to Germany to say goodbye to his dog or Harlow was flying to the UK, or the Brennan's going back and forth to Adelaide.

So, yeah, the audience will all know why state borders would have closed but it had seemed that Neighbours decided to carry on in its own world. Now mentioning the closure of borders doesn't fit into the story. See also the absence of masks in public, full offices, school still open etc etc. They had cut down the number of extras, shot more outdoor scenes and very few in the street, and had characters generally further apart than usual, so that was part of the filming process but storylines carried on as normal.
