A couple of TV Week articles:

"Shane and Dipi consider moving to Sydney. It's a tough blow for Nell, who considered Dipi as a mother figure after the tragic passing of her mum Sonya.

As Shane and Dipi iron out their plans with Toadie, Nell takes off, prompting the Rebecchis to search high and low for her. Where could she be?"

"Emmett tells Aaron and David that his Aunt Linda wants to return to New Zealand, further separating him from his half-brother Brent. Desperate to stay in Australia, he asks them if he can move back in.

Aaron and David are full of mixed emotions. They would love to have Emmett back but they have a baby on the way with Nicolette, who also has a criminal record, which means Emmett and her can't live in the same house.

Eventually, they decide to take him in, but when they ask Aunt Linda, she's intent on taking him to New Zealand. Determined not to give up on Emmett, the men organise a house assessment with Leila from the foster agency.

As the couple prepare for the house visit, they're full of nerves, especially when Brent takes off, but thankfully he comes through. Brent stuns everyone when he turns up and impresses Leila. They are hopeful Emmett will stay but the decision is yet to be made."

"After an explosive argument between Karl and Olivia resulted in Olivia falling down a flight of stairs, she landed in hospital in a coma. When Olivia wakes up, she accuses Karl of pushing her down the stairs.

Following allegations by Olivia, Karl is arrested and dragged away to the police station by his niece's boyfriend, Levi."

Hi
Does anyone know how long Brent is staying for?

I don't believe a timeframe has been confirmed as yet. The Producer only mentioned there was more of his story to tell when it was first announced he (& Emmett) was returning, but he didn't say for how long. I don't know how long his contract is for, but I understand it is a guest role at this stage, however you never know, that may be upgraded to permanent eventually. I know that the likes of Takaya Honda (David) has posted online that he would like him to be a regular & plenty of fans seem to be lobbying for this as well. Whether keeping him on as permanent is in the producers/writers minds & whether they will listen to the online chatter remains to be seen...

Digital Spy article which follows on from the previous posts:

Neighbours star Matt Wilson hopes Emmett and Brent become show regulars
"They're such great performers."

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a35831722/neighbours-matt-wilson-emmett-brent-show-regulars/

Neighbours star Matt Wilson has shared his hope that Emmett Donaldson (Ezra Justin) and Brent Colefax (Texas Watterston) will become show regulars.

The duo returned to screens earlier this year when David (Takaya Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) found Brent sleeping rough in their shed.

Speaking recently to Digital Spy, Matt shared his admiration for both actors' talents, dubbing them "great performers".

He also revealed he "absolutely" would love Emmett and Brent to join the show on a more permanent basis.

"We love Ezra and Texas," Matt told Digital Spy. "They're such good fun to have on set. I don't know if it's me trying to live my youth again through them, but it's really good to have them back. They're such great performers.

"Texas has never had any formal acting training. He hasn't even done a class. He just watched movies and wrote down notes and observed. Every time he turns up to set, his scripts are covered top to bottom in notes with his red pen. He writes so many notes and delves so deep into every scene. He's going to go a long way."

"And Ezra is just one of those annoying kids who has double your amount of talent and is half your age! You just think: 'If I had that much confidence at his age, I can't imagine where I'd be now'."

Asked whether he wants them to become regulars, he added: "Oh yeah, for sure ? absolutely!"

Matt's comments follow his co-star Takaya Honda revealing he also "would love" for Brett and Emmett to become show regulars.

He said: "I would love it to happen. It depends whether these two young, brilliant actors want to stay on the show, in a way!"

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
