Leanne announces to Simon that she's going to ask for her job back, get an advance on her wages and pay Harvey off. But when Imran refuses to give her an advance, and Nick can only loan her ?1,000, Leanne masks her panic.

Approaching Harvey's car with trepidation, Leanne hands him the ?1,000, telling him she is Simon's mum and that's all he's getting. Harvey makes it clear he wants the rest, or he'll put them in hospital. Leanne is shaken.

Back home, Leanne assures Simon that everything is sorted and Harvey is off their case. But as a relieved Simon heads off, Leanne pulls a bag of drugs from her handbag.

Simon also visits Kelly in hospital. Feeling awful, he says if she wants to report him to the police, he'll take what's coming to him. At the station, Imran explains to Kelly that he has been appointed to represent her and he needs to know where she got the drugs.

Meanwhile, when Michael reveals they're going to throw a reveal party for the baby and Ronnie has offered to fund it, Ed is annoyed that his brother's treading on his toes.

Elsewhere, Tyrone flirts with Alina in the caf? and it's clear she enjoys his attention.

Also, Sally insists on helping Abi plan her wedding and appoints herself Maid of Honour.

Leanne receives a text from Harvey with the details of her first drugs drop. At a seedy flat, a menacing bloke ushers her in while he checks the pills. Eventually released, her heart pounding, Leanne fights back tears.

Back on the street Nick demands to know what's going on, convinced she and Simon are hiding something. Leanne fobs Nick off, but having taken a call from Harvey informing her that he has lined up her next drop, a despairing Leanne realises she's trapped and there's nothing she can do.

Meanwhile, Asha confesses to Dev that it was her idea to buy the pills as she just wanted to forget who she was for a few hours. Dev is shocked at her level of despair.

Having been released without charge, a defiant Kelly tells Imran she's not going back to her foster parents and he can't make her. When Imran reveals that he and Toyah are foster parents, Kelly suggests she could stay with them.

Elsewhere, Michael is grateful when Ed insists he'll pay for the party, not Ronnie. Out of earshot, Ronnie answers his phone and tells the caller to stop pestering him.

Also, Abi plucks up the courage and tells Sally she doesn't want a big fancy wedding but she'd be honoured if Sally would conduct a ceremony.

Finally, Fiz is bemused to catch Tyrone looking at beauty therapies online.

Ronnie's estranged wife Kat turns up, sick of him ignoring her calls. When Ronnie refuses her pleas to come home, Kat accuses him of running away to be with Aggie.

As Grace leaves the supermarket with the shopping for the party, a security guard demands to see her receipt. Locked in an office, Grace suddenly feels a sharp pain and realises with horror it was a contraction.

Back on the street, when Kat refuses to leave without an explanation, Ronnie admits he has come to find out if his nephew Michael is really his son. Ed arrives and asks who Kat is.

Meanwhile, Debbie invites Abi and Sally to the Bistro, where she has provided drinks and a selection of wedding dresses to try. Abi reluctantly tries on the dresses, while Tracy knocks back the wine and mocks Debbie's taste.

Eventually Abi tells Debbie she doesn't want her charity but as their row escalates, Debbie accidentally sits on some food, staining one of the dresses.

Elsewhere, Alina drives an old banger onto the street. Tyrone offers to take a look at it for her, but when Alina reveals she knows her way around a car's engine because her grandfather taught her, he's more smitten than ever.

Also, Cathy berates Brian for chasing Steve over his paper bill, pointing out that he's grieving. Taking out her purse, Cathy pays his paper bill for him, unbeknown to Steve.

Kat is stung when Ronnie introduces her to Ed as his business partner. She warns Ronnie he's risking destroying his family based on a hunch.

At the hospital, Grace finally locates the receipt for her shopping. Accusing the security guard of racial profiling, Ronnie thrusts it at him.

With Michael at Grace's bedside, Ed asks Ronnie why he's so on edge. Steeling himself, Ronnie admits that he had a relationship with Aggie before Ed met her and believes Michael could be his son.

As Ed tries to compute everything, Michael announces that Grace has had a baby girl.

Meanwhile, when Debbie reveals that the beetroot stained dress costs ?5,000, Abi's horrified. At Tracy's suggestion, Abi chucks a glass of prosecco over the beetroot stain, but it only makes matters worse. Debbie is fuming.

Elsewhere, when Alina suggests they work on her car together, Tyrone is secretly thrilled.

Also, Cathy reveals she'd like to do more to help Steve with his fundraising. But when she shows Tracy some of her ideas, Tracy gives her short shrift, leaving Cathy hurt.

Finally, Nick and Sam meet Simon in Speed Daal and he apologises for the incident with Jacob. Nick wonders where Leanne is. Arriving late, she paints on a smile, assuring Nick everything is fine.

Hour-long episode

As Alina shows Emma and Seb the gift she has bought for Tyrone as a thank you for fixing her car, Seb watches her wistfully. Emma urges him to tell her how he feels. Alina reluctantly agrees to lunch, where she steals herself and admits to Seb that she's in love with someone else. Seb is crushed.

Tyrone finds an upset Alina in the gardens. When Alina confesses she has fallen for him, Tyrone is overwhelmed.

Tyrone returns home with his head in a spin. He finds Fiz and Adam waiting. Adam advises that since they're not married, it's important they make a will. When Fiz suggests they could just get married, Tyrone slaps the idea down. Guilty, he apologises, explaining that when they get married it should be romantic, not a legal formality.

Tyrone meets with Alina and apologises for his reaction earlier. They agree to forget about it. An excited Fiz confides in Chesney that she has booked a surprise for Tyrone ? a wedding in Greece.

Meanwhile, Michael tells Grace that their baby is doing fine and it's time they put the past behind them and looked to the future. When Ronnie calls round with gifts for the baby, Ed orders him to stay away from his family.

Aggie wishes she could return home to see Ed face-to-face, but can't risk it due to her aunt's diagnosis. In the hospital, a worried Michael tells Ed they've had to put the baby back on a ventilator as she was struggling to breathe. When Ronnie offers to buy Michael a car as he'll be back and forth to the hospital, Ed is forced to bite his tongue.

Elsewhere, Cathy offers her fundraising services to Tracy, but she cuts her dead. Angered by Tracy's comments, Cathy posts her own views online about Steve and Tracy's fundraising efforts.

Steve is upset to read comments online suggesting that he and Tracy are syphoning money from Oliver's fund. Having pinpointed the troll, 'Lemon Drop', Amy vows revenge. When Cathy overhears Amy telling Asha about the online trolls and how upset her dad is, she feels terrible.

Also today, as Natasha returns from London, Nick is disappointed to realise his time with Sam has come to an end. He asks Leanne about moving back in, but he's hurt when Leanne insists it's too soon. At Sam's suggestion, Natasha tells Nick he's welcome to stay with them. Nick is grateful.

Finally, Tim is made up to be asked to be chief usher at Kevin and Abi's wedding.
