Moby has praised rival Eminem for his political comments about President Bush and the war on Iraq.
Although the pair have never really seen eye to eye, Moby has found respect for the rapper in light of his condemning Bush and the war. Gigwise.com reports that he told press in Hong Kong: "I found myself respecting him for doing that.
"Honestly, if he retired, I think the world of music would be a poorer place. He's a really fascinating public figure. I'd much rather have public figure musicians like Eminem because at least he's exciting."
Moby added that he was not offended by Eminem's spoofing him in videos: βTo have the most successful musician in the world dress up like you in a video and sing about you in a song - it was honestly some of the best publicity I've ever had.β
