Katy is horrified to receive a visit from the police. She sneaks out of the house and goes to see Mick, who insists that he hasn't called the police and he doubts that Frankie has either.

Katy resorts to a new tactic to manipulate the situation, but Mick gives her some home truths. Both are shocked when they realise Shirley is standing nearby. Shirley is stunned to learn the truth and takes matters into her own hands.

Meanwhile, the Carters worry that Tina will look more guilty if she doesn't turn up for her hearing. Gray tries to pretend there's a chance Tina might show up and he also sends a text from her phone to fool the Carters.

Elsewhere, Sharon covers her tracks when Ian collapses. She insists to Ash that Ian just needs rest.

Dotty plans a party and Ash decides to attend when she finds out that Peter will be there.
Jean attends a doctors appointment and expresses her fears that the cancer is back.
Denise is left questioning who she should believe.

Mick struggles with the thought of other people now knowing what happened to him. At the same time, Ben is concerned to find Callum and Frankie drinking together at The Prince Albert. He reminds Frankie about the fight she got into last time.

Later, Shirley is shocked to realise that Linda has known the truth about Mick for some time. Linda encourages her to focus on being there for Mick. Later, Max urges Linda to explain what's going on and why their relationship ended so abruptly.

Meanwhile, Sharon gives Dotty a case of prosecco for her party as a peace offering, but someone is intrigued when Dotty later returns it.

Elsewhere, Jean tries to have some fun and vows to concentrate on the here and now. This includes deleting voicemail messages from her doctor.

Ash and Iqra are drifting apart.
Peter, Ash, Tiffany and Keegan head to the call centre to start their own party, but Suki interrupts.
An unlikely pair get closer.

Jean offers some advice to Sheree, but ends up scaring her. Sheree confides in Isaac about her fears of losing another husband.

Meanwhile, Jean goes ahead with her plan and is determined that she's doing the right thing.

Elsewhere, Gray is disappointed when Shirley continues to search for Tina. Mick is also surprised to hear about Tina's text. Knowing there's something she can do to help, Linda messages Max.

Ash looks for an excuse not to join Iqra as she visits Habiba and sees Jags.
Some words of wisdom from Sharon leave Martin determined to fix things with Ruby.

Ian heads to see the doctor, while Kathy is annoyed that Sharon didn't tell her about Ian's worrying condition.

Later, someone overhears Sharon making a phone call and decides to tip off Ian about what they heard.

Meanwhile, Patrick promises Denise that he didn't want Lucas to get hurt. Denise confronts Phil about what happened, but he insists that he merely spoke to Lucas.

Denise meets up with Lucas and Chelsea, warning them that someone else is after Lucas. Lucas agrees to leave because he doesn't want to put Chelsea in harm's way.

Elsewhere, Gray continues to struggle with Karen looking after the kids.

Bernie wants to apply for a job working at the call centre with Kheerat, which won't go down well with Gray.
