Emmerdale's Charity Dingle will become caught up in a life of crime once again this Christmas as she teams up with Mackenzie Boyd.

Mack (Lawrence Robb) has caused nothing but trouble for Charity (Emma Atkins) since his arrival in the village, as his very first episode saw him kiss Charity by the side of the road ? an incident which has led to the breakdown of Charity's relationship with her fianc?e Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), who is currently away from the village.

In the build-up to Christmas, Charity and Mack will team up to stash some stolen goods but they are caught in the act by Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

Chas recently persuaded Charity's teenage son Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) to patch things up with his mum following Charity's neglect of Noah, but when Chas finds out what Charity is up to, she regrets her well-intentioned intervention.

Mack and Charity later drive out to a barn where Mack has hidden their stolen merchandise. The pair flirt with each other and Charity can't help but feel attracted to Mack, but it's still very unclear as to whether she can really trust him.

After Christmas, Charity and Mack decide to try to rob a driver as part of a new scheme but their plan backfires on them.

As the week goes on, the troublesome pair decide their next move will be to break into Home Farm ? but by the end of the day, one of them will betray the other.

Has Charity underestimated Mack, or has Mack been dropped in it by Charity?

Getting involved in dodgy dealings with Mack isn't all Charity is up to this festive season, as she will also plot to crash the secret wedding Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is planning for him and Chas.

After Charity overhears the wedding planners talking about how glad they are that she hasn't been invited, an enraged Charity decides to dress up in funeral attire ? but will she actually ruin the big day?
