The first year is the hardest!!! I've suddenly realised that I'll be celebrating my 6th wedding anniversary in November - I could have killed him and got out by now!! I'll put my thinking cap on - first anniversary is paper but that is a bit boring!

We went quad biking on our first anniversary through a forest. Brilliant fun.

does that mean on your diamond anniversary you should get diamomnds!!! Roll on that year!!I got a emerald and diamond engagement ring (both of our birthstones) but each year has a got a specific theme. For our 5th last year, he gave me a welsh gold ring, which means a lot though and doesn't go along with any of the themes!!

we had a wekkend away after our wedding and i spent the hole night crying because i didnt get to kiss him goodbye and give him a cuddle!! i came home the next morning!I know the feeling - I can't remember the last time we went out for a meal together without the kids, but our philosophy is that we are a family unit, so should do things as a family. Plus we don't have anyone that lives close enough (family/close friends) to babysit...

yeah i always feel that we should go out but then the day comes and we either stay at home or connor comes with us! even when he stays at my mums im constantly talking to him on the phone!! my dad thinks im mad. i give them half hour to get to their house then phone to see if he alright, then phone at teatime then he phones me to say goodnight and first thing in the morning im on the phone!!

im lucky to have my mum and dad so close and my siter and lbith live 5 mins away from me. i only trust my mum to look after him properly though! id be a nightmare if my brother had him.

Yeah Debs - congrats on your first wedding anniversary......

what we did for ours was ..... a 5 minute walk along the beach and had some Marks and spencer sandwiches......and I laid on the couch sleeping most of the rest of the day

Doesnt sound very romantic does it....it was quiet sweet at the time, and we were rather limited as we had been involved in a car accident a couple of weeks earlier and I had spent a week in hospital with a suspected broken neck (it was only a chip in the end) and had cronic neck and back pain - what fun!!

Well what with all the weddings ive had to go to this year and family birthday parties i had completely forgot about my anniversary!! so not organised a thing. decided to ask my sister about the really nice caravan park she and hubbie go to, only wanted to know how much it was for a weekend there!!

anyway went down for the door and my sis and gher hubbie told us they had already arranged for us to go down there as a surprise treat so we are going to a rather nice caravan for 3 days, they have a posh member club which we can get passes to, so i will be spending some of the days swimming, in the jacuzzi and hot tub, menthol steam room, and sauna. massages and there is a gym i could use! connor is coming too so he can go into the kids club while me and dave have a afternoon to ourself and their all sorts for him to do. im looking forwatrd to it,

we could have done quite well mum and dad were gonna get us a room for a night to amke up for our disaster wedding night hotel andthe daves mum offered to send us away for a night!!

2 weeks to go and i cant wait!!
