The evening started off on a loving note between Anthony and Craig.
"Do you love me?" Craig asked, after the first few glasses of champagne had set in.
"As a friend," Anthony - Aussie scuba diver Shane - replied.
"Exactly," said Craig happily. "Exactly the right answer. Good boy, good boy!"
Showing off his buddy to the group, Craig asked: "Isn't Shane brilliant? He is my brother."
Later, Steve attempted to put the moves on Orlaith, the French poet. "If you want an Australian kid I'm happy to oblige," he informed her, but was promptly knocked back. "I don't want a child by a scuba diver."
"I specialise in other types of diving," he added with a smile.
