Luke Arnold opens up about joining Home and Away
The handsome Australian actor arrives in Summer Bay soon, sparking a new romance.
Actor Luke Arnold is relishing his guest role on Home and Away.

He arrives on screens during the show?s upcoming season finale to play Summer Bay?s mysterious new nurse Lewis Hayes ? and while he?s on a revenge mission, Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) also catches his eye.
?Lewis and Jasmine had a fling back in the day,? the 36-year-old tells WHO. ?But once that ended, he went off, found the love of his life but unfortunately she passed away.?
Lewis arrives in Summer Bay determined to confront the surgeon he believes is responsible for his late partner?s death.
?Lewis wants to get into it with Ditch Davey?s character Christian Green but when he reconnects with Jasmine, he?s torn between his budding new romance and his building obsession with Christian.?
It?s a juicy role, Arnold says. ?I stick around for a few months.?
How did you prepare for your role?
Lewis splits his time between working as a nurse and hanging out with his old friend Jasmine. I?m really lucky that Home and Away has skilled nurses on set and in the writers? room, helping me to make Lewis look as authentic and accomplished as a nurse as possible ? even with the fast-shooting schedule. When it comes to making Jasmine and Lewis look comfortable with each other, there was no preparation needed. Sam makes the job a breeze.
Did you know Sam Frost before joining the soap?
I actually met Sam a few years ago at WHO?s Sexiest People party. It was only a brief meeting but it was enough to let me know that she?d be a lot of fun to work with. Almost every other Aussie actor I know has had their turn on Home and Away over the years, so I?m stoked to finally get my shot.
As well as acting, you?re also an author ?
I started acting to kind of hire myself to play parts in things I wrote. That lead to acting in productions like [2014?s INXS miniseries] Never Tear Us Apart and [2014-17 historical TV series] Black Sails. It was such a buzz to play those parts. When I finished filming those, I wrote my [fantasy] books The Last Smile in Sunder City and Dead Man in a Ditch ? which came out this year. I?m so lucky that I get to act and write. I?ve got the best of both worlds!
(Home and Away?s season finale airs Mon., Nov. 30, 7pm on Channel Seven)

Home And Away's Lewis prepares to fatally jab Ari, will Dr Christian discover his plot before it's too late?
Is this the end for Ari?
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/home-and-away/home-and-away-does-ari-die-67174
As Ari lies helpless in a coma in this week's Home And Away, Lewis, armed with a syringe, prepares to inject him with drugs that could kill him. Will anyone stop Lewis murdering Ari?
As if this is not shocking enough, the revelation that Lewis (Luke Arnold) is Ari's would-be killer means Lewis is the one responsible for the horror spate of deaths among Dr Christian's (Ditch Davey) patients at the hospital.
Last week, Christian made the decision to bring Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) out of his coma after he was injured in a targeted hit-and-run.
That was after Lewis questioned Christian's ability to do his job, prompting the neurosurgeon to doubt himself. And this concerns fellow doctor - and his fiancee - Tori (Penny McNamee).
"Tori is worried that if Christian continues to doubt his abilities as a surgeon, he'll make errors in the operating theatre," Penny, 38, tells TV WEEK.
"She tried to gently remind him of this, but is forced to be quite assertive with him when he starts to spiral."
As fans know, Lewis and Christian have been at loggerheads over Lewis' insistence that Christian is to blame for the death in surgery of his wife Anna and their unborn child.
While they made an effort to patch up their differences, Lewis' simmering animosity has stymied any attempts to move forward so they can work together as hospital colleagues.
"Of course, Christian can see why Lewis is so upset about this tragedy," Ditch, 48, explains to TV WEEK.
"As a man who has always wanted a family, and now having the chance to start one with Tori and Grace, the impact is certainly not lost on him.
"He understands Lewis' pain, but he's adamant he did all he could to save Anna and her baby."
Tori and nurse Jasmine (Sam Frost) - who is now in a sizzling relationship with Lewis - are stuck in the middle of the men's feud.
Penny says Tori doesn't know what to make of unpredictable Lewis.
"He comes across as friendly and professional," she says.
"However, his temper and resistance to work with Christian prompts Tori to start doubting him."
But she has no clue Lewis is a secret killer who intends to do in poor Ari.
"Tori has no reason not to trust Lewis, so she gives him the benefit of the doubt," Penny explains.
As the Parata family comes together to talk about Christian's decision to bring Ari out of his coma, Lewis is in Ari's ICU room, preparing to insert the syringe into Ari's IV line.
Is it all over for Ari?

Home and Away teases huge danger for Summer Bay in sinister Lewis Hayes storyline
They have a true baddie on their hands.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/home-and-away/a36075727/home-and-away-danger-summer-bay-lewis-hayes-storyline/
Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's Summer Bay residents are all in danger thanks to sinister newcomer Lewis Hayes.
Upcoming scenes, which are teased in the trailer above, will find Lewis jumping into another fierce confrontation with Dr Christian Green, which leads to violence.
This concerns his girlfriend Jasmine Delaney, who begins to question Lewis' strong desire for revenge.
Elsewhere in the Bay, there's further drama as Mackenzie Booth collapses ? she recently lost her baby to an ectopic pregnancy, for which she desperately needed surgery.
It's then teased that anyone could be the next victim of Lewis, before zeroing in on him as he closes in on someone at the hospital ? their life very much in his evil hands.
Australian Home and Away fans have already seen a separate tense bedside encounter, with Mia Anderson interrupting a moment with Ari Parata as Lewis attempted to kill him.
It's also been implied that Lewis could be responsible for various deaths of Christian's patients. Could he be the soap's most twisted baddie yet?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK), with first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Nowtolove.com.au article:
There?s a compelling fan theory about Home And Away Lewis? deadly plans and Ditch Davey may have just hinted at it, too
''Anyone could be his next victim.''
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/home-and-away/home-and-away-lewis-christian-67372
When Lewis waltzed into Summer Bay after a perfect meet-cute in last year's finale we were so excited by the prospect of a new romantic interest for Jasmine, we never wanted to consider he would have an ulterior motive.
As the fellow nurse settled in to his new home slowly we realised his motives weren't all pure.
Hell-bent on revenge for the death of his wife and unborn baby at the hands of Dr Christian Green, Lewis has had his sights set on the doc.
And, his wicked plot seems to be coming to a head.
A new teaser for Home And Away has fans in a frenzy as it appears Lewis may have a deadly plan in mind for Christian, that goes beyond his already failed attempts to take him down.
"I'm trying to understand what else I have to do to make Christian pay," Lewis says in the clip.
"Anyone could be his next victim," the voiceover menacingly follows. So how far will he go? Well, it appears the doctor may become the patient, as Lewis towers over what appears to be Christian he says, "Your life is in my hands now".
Some were convinced the close up glimpse of the man's face can be identified as Christian.
"Definitely Christian . The tone in Lewis's voice implies he's talking to the actual person he's after," one fan commented.
Others however believe it's a plot to catch Lewis out in the act.
"I think it might be a trap to catch Lewis out," one fan wrote.
"Jasmine is seeing Christians true colours now so I too think they set a trap to catch him out," a second added.
Both Sam Frost and Ditch Davey appeared on Sunrise this week and teased that the drama is just kicking off.
"The drift between doctors versus nurses is happening," Ditch explained to host Sam Mac before adding: "Christian has decked Lewis, Jasmine's boyfriend and he's about to retaliate."
To which Sam chimed in: "It's been really hectic, I think people will enjoy it."

Home And Away?s Lewis tries to kill Christian in shock murder twist ? but can anyone stop him before it?s too late?
''He believes he?s left with no other recourse.''
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/home-and-away/home-and-away-lewis-kill-christian-67414
It's a scene that's become all too familiar in Home And Away of late: crazed hospital serial killer Lewis preparing to inject innocent victim with drugs which will end their life.
This week, the nurse's murderous rampage takes a terrifying twist when he prepares to snuff out Dr Christian. Will anyone hear the surgeon's screams for help?
Lewis (Luke Arnold) has been out for bloody revenge ever since he landed in Summer Bay, blaming Christian (Ditch Davey) for the death of his wife Anna and her baby.
Desperate to prove Christian's unfit to be a surgeon, Lewis has been secretly bumping off his patients.
He even tried to kill Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams), but was thwarted at the last moment when he was interrupted by Mia (Anna Samson).
But he's not taking any chances this time. Last week, fans were left gobsmacked as they watched deranged Lewis drag Christian's unconscious body into an empty hospital room.
The hospital board may have cleared Christian of any wrongdoing in his patients' deaths ? but that's not good enough for Lewis.
"Essentially, Lewis believes that while Christian is a surgeon, innocent people will die," Luke, 35, tells TV WEEK.
"He believes he's left with no other recourse to do the right thing than to take action into his own hands."
A groggy Christian wakes up to find himself strapped to a bed in a seemingly abandoned ward in the hospital. Christian yells for help, but no-one can hear him.
Armed with a drug-filled syringe, Lewis reminds Christian of his dead wife and baby ? killing the surgeon is payback.
Elsewhere, Jasmine (Sam Frost), who has become increasingly concerned about Lewis' mental state, meets up with an equally worried Tori (Penny McNamee).
The two desperately search the hospital, but can't find them.
Just as Lewis is about to spike Christian with deadly drugs, Jasmine and Tori remember the unused ward and race to find them. Is it too late?
