Scissot Sisters' Jake Shears has written a song about Sir Paul McCartney after he appeared to him in a dream.

A source told The Star: “Jake had a strong feeling about it and Paul inspired a great track.

“He was so excited to meet Paul at Live 8 that he told him to listen out for a tune.”

Scissor Sisters' eponymous debut album was last year's best seller in the U.K.
