also if you exfoliate before you put your tan on it goes on better, just make sure you do your Knee's, elbows, wrists, ankles

I use St Tropez, and it's good, although expensive. However, the last time I applied it, I asked my husband to do it. NEVER again! It came out blochey (sp?)!

So a valuable tip, never get you partner to apply it!

I am using the Johnson's one and reckon its worth the fiver. It takes a few days to develop, but its not over the top and is even. I would recomend it.

i just go in water and come out tanned. I find going into water gets me more tanned than sitting on the beach!! I couldn't use fake tan, i'd do it wrong and look like an orange!!

Be careful when you put it on your arms as my friend had bright orange elbows for weeks!

Before you tan always moisturise knees, ankles, elbows as this stops them from going really orange. I bought these wipes from Dorothy Perkins and they were only £1 so i thought BARGAIN, lol. They turned out to be quite good:D

Never use the fake tan wipes, they are terrible - you can't see where you've already put the tan on and so you put more on and...*ahem* you end up with bright orange and white stripy legs... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl :rotfl: Oh and if you're tanning your legs remember to do the tops of your feet as well if you're gonna wear open shoes!

I don't use fake tan, I think you should go to really get a tan, not use cream! It is too fake!

Spray tans are fab but bit expensive. Give a very natural colour though!

I have never used fake tans, they must work and must be quite good, but personally, I wouldn't use them!

In Argos, there is a self-tan spray in there. I recommond using fake tan anytime, it's better than risking skin cancer in sun beds.
