Ben fills in Callum over the latest developments with Ellie. As Phil is struggling to get hold of her, Ben suspects that Ellie is using a fake name and they won't be able to track her down again.
Callum decides to seek help from DI Thompson when it comes to getting information on Ellie. He claims that this will help him to get closer to Phil, and is surprised by what Thompson tells him about Ellie.
Meanwhile, Ian promises Max that he'll make the first repayment soon. Peter overhears and asks for his allowance, assuming that Ian's money issues are now over.
Later, Kathy offers to remortgage the cafe to help Ian, but he assures her there's no need. Peter is growing suspicious over Ian's behaviour and soon discovers the truth.
Elsewhere, Mick is still angry with Shirley.
Also today, Peter admits to Kathy that he lowered her age on the dating app, while Jay encourages Honey to ask newcomer Paul out on a date.

Phil gets a chance to confront Ellie about her lies when they meet at The Arches.
Ben decides that the situation needs to go through the courts, while Phil agrees that if Ellie wants a war, she's got one.
Meanwhile, Kathy trips over at The Prince Albert while on her date. She has to go to hospital and the situation throws Bobby into turmoil. Peter finds him obsessively cleaning and counting to five, blaming himself for what happened.
Elsewhere, Ruby and Stacey seem to be bonding at the club, but the atmosphere is ruined when Lily repeats some nasty comments that Stacey made about Ruby earlier.
Also today, Habiba is furious over the Panesars not supporting Jags, so she decides that she wants Ash out of the house.

Stacey is shocked by a concerning delivery. Kush fears it could be a warning related to his debts. Stacey thinks Ruby could be responsible, although she denies it.
Later, after Stacey and Ruby continue to argue, Stacey is attacked by a hooded figure.
Meanwhile, Phil explains to Ritchie that he wants full custody, but she warns that his criminal record count count against him. Callum warns Jack to steer clear, as DI Thompson doesn't want Jack involved in the investigation.
Elsewhere, Peter notices that Bobby is still frantically cleaning his hands. Bobby worries that Peter will reveal his secret.
Also today, Habiba warns Iqra to choose between her and Ash, while Lola feels guilty when Honey reveals that Jay has been singing her praises.

Phil is desperate to prove that Ellie is an unfit guardian.
Callum accesses more information on Ellie for Phil, but gets caught by DI Thompson. Callum protests that he'll be able to get Phil on side if he supplies the required information.
At the same time, Denise makes a huge choice.
Meanwhile, Sharon is upset after Denny's belongings were returned. Ian sympathises with her and gives her a birthday card.
The touching encounter leads to Sharon and Ian repairing their friendship, apologising for their recent tensions.
