The grandmother of Angelina Jolie's adopted daughter has spoken of her desire to take the baby back to Africa.
Almaz Bifnhe put AIDS orphan Zahara Marley up for adoption after the child's mother died following the birth. However, Almaz wants her granddaughter to return to Ethiopa when the family are in a better position.
"It wept my heart to give her away, but we were too poor to keep her," Almaz is quoted by the Sunday Mirror as saying.
"No woman wants to give away her own flesh and blood, as she is all I have left of my daughter. But I thought I am doing the best for her - I want the best for her. I miss her already."
