Suranne Jones willing to return to Corrie

Suranne Jones has revealed that she would love to make a return to Coronation Street eventually.

"I told them I wanted to do other things first before I went back," the actress, who played Karen McDonald, told the Sunday Mirror.

"They've been really nice about it and said the door is left open. I'd love to walk on the Street's cobbles, knock on Steve's door and ask him, 'Where's Tracy?'"

"I have a couple of properties in Manchester and my mates keep telling me to sell up and buy something down in London. But that's where my roots are - and I'm still clinging on because I love to go back."

i wonder what the storyline is going to be if she ever comes back???
Maybe she might get back with Steve and try helping Steve get Amy back i doubt that will be happing.

The onyl one i've really seen it work with is Tiffany from eastenders - but then again that soon died down too

even with her it didnt really work,she got one number one then flopped then was in that film(cant think whats its called) with hugh grant and then shes had my fair lady etc which she claimed she was too ill to carry onor something,shes now failed too.bet she wishes she hadnt been killed off in ee now.

Sarah Lancashire managed it - i saw a programme about coronation st the other day and they showed raquel and it made me realise how you really don't associate her with the character as you do with most ex soap stars.

i cant see the show being able to fit her in when she returns

shes much better than the show and this was always the case, she was the only good thing about the show and she knew it, she can do much better than return to corrie, and it would only be a repeat of the steve/tracy/karen thing once more which is boring

Karen was the best, Tracey can just be annoying. They are trying to turn her into Karen, but she will never be her. I think that if Karen returned then they would have to stop doing that, which would make it better
