Craig and Derek haven't bonded much together in the House, until now that is.
Craig told Derek how difficult it was going to the cinema with a date, as they couldn't hold hands without attracting attention. "Other people can take stuff for granted," he said.
"It depends where you live," said Derek. "People are much freer and open in London, for example."
Derek asked if Anthony understood Craig now.
"A million percent," said Craig. "He was saying stuff like, I wouldn't change one thing about you. That's a really nice thing to say."
"Very nice. He's a very nice person," said Derek.
Derek told Craig that he was doing Big Brother for himself, as he did plenty for others. "I belong to significant minority groups," he said. "Being gay, being black, being Tory, being a foxhunter. But I came on here for myself."
"I feel all emotional," said Craig. "What a deep conversation. You're the person I can talk to. You see where I'm coming from."
"Yes. I've been there," Derek assured him. "I do so hope to see you on the outside and hopefully circumstances might allow you to discover London a bit more. You would have a lot to offer it and it would have a lot to give you. All those men and so little time."
We didn't know he cared.
