Science's exit from the House doesn't seem to have bothered the group as they happily set about their usual routine. Even Orlaith didn't look too upset to be staying another week.
"I am happy," she admitted to Anthony adding, "I suppose, I have got the whole of Ireland's vote."
Meanwhile, Eugene was enjoying the absence of Science's booming voice. "Derek, can you hear that?" he grinned. The Tory couldn't hear a thing. "Exactly!" chuckled the boffin, "Silence - more or less!"
"Hopefully we'll get some more peace and quiet and communication," continued Eugene.
But Derek appeared strangely subdued and complained that Orlaith voicing her certainty that Science was leaving throughout the evening had been "heartless".
Considering life without Science, Derek merely mumbled, "Yes, it'll be interesting."
Is Derek, of all people, the only one to miss Science? Well, absence does make the heart grow fonder.
