Girls Aloud have been ordered to put on weight by their record company, The Mirror claims today.

The five singers have all lost weight after performing energetic dance routines on their tour earlier this year.

Polydor executives are hiring a nutritionist for the group, who will help the stars to pile on the pounds sensibly.

"The tour was gruelling because they performed practically every night and they all ended up losing quite a bit of weight," an insider explained.

"They were all slim before the tour and some of the girls caused concern by how skinny they had become.

"None of them has eating disorders but they are all looking pretty thin at the moment. People are concerned that being so thin might make them ill as they've got quite a tough schedule. They finished the tour last month and are now in the recording studio in London working on their next album.

"The record label thought it was for the best that the girls put some weight back on and the best option was to get a nutritionist to work out eating plans for them.

"They will be given recipes and cooking lessons because none of them can really cook that well."

So first they were made to lose weight after eating junk, then when they do they are ordered to put it back on. How does that make sense?

Thats just really stupid. They should have told them to be healthier in the first place, then they wouldn't get so thin following the orders they were given

I don't get it, they all had a nice figure to start with. It annoys me fashion conformity
