Derek has admitted to despising parties and is even considering not showing up for the post-series wrap party.
"If I win I would go [to the party]," he told Eugene, "and if I didn't, I wouldn't. I would feel obliged to go had I won, but if I'm given the choice to go to a party, I would always say no."
He continued: "People have always got this wrong impression of me, of being a great London socialite - they've said it in the papers before - but it's absolute rubbish. I'm the person that is very difficult to get to go to a party. I don't like going to parties."
