Strictly Come Dancing will return for an expanded run in October, the BBC has confirmed.

The third series of the ballroom show will feature twelve celebrity couples - up from the ten of the last series - competing over a period of ten weeks.

Meanwhile, spinoff show Strictly Dance Fever will return for a second series in the New Year.

yeah i guess it should be... although it has got celebs in it, it isn't really gossip its a fact

I didn't watch much of the last series because it was pitted against the X Factor but will definately be watching this series.

Oh I loved both Celebrity Come Dancing and Strictly Dance Fever...........maybe I'm sad and showing my age when I remember Bruce Forsthye (sp)doing the show in the 1980's!

I thought Graham Norton didn't work on Strictly Dance Fever so I couldn't bear to watch it!

Julien Clarey was funny- he tried so hard to suceed yet tried to act like he wasn't

I hope they get some good people to come into it again, and dont get desperate and get z listers.

Soap stars are good for that sort of programme, and comediens, but i hate it when it "this person slept with the daughter of the son of...."- they just aren't celebs!

Totally! I dont think he would though because i was reading in the Radio times interview with him that he was meant to dance on the final of Strictly Dance Fever, but got out of it, because he didn't want to

I might watch it, but that depends on who is in it.
