Another alcohol-induced argument broke out between Anthony and Craig last night but ultimately it only served to bring the pair closer together.
The row appeared to begin when Kemal reminded Anthony of a drunken comment he had made previously where he had apparently said that he would "****" Kemal if he "had boobs".
In the face of teasing from Kemal and Makosi, Craig stepped in to remind everyone that Anthony was "one million percent straight".
Anthony informed his friend that that fact did not even need to be mentioned, such was its patency.
The disagreement soon escalated into a full-blown tiff, with Craig asking: "Why are you horrible to me? Why are you evil to me?"
Anthony, who was attempting to enter the diary room at the time, claimed not to know what Craig was talking about, advising him to "chill out".
As Craig continued, Anthony raised his voice and repeated: "There is no issue. I don't know what you're talking about!"
The pair then went their separate ways: Anthony retired to bed, while a teary Craig took refuge in the living area, where he was comforted by Derek.
Around half an hour later Anthony entered the living area to clear the air.
"Are you alright?" he asked, explaining: "Honestly Craig, I just wanted to go to bed. I couldn't be arsed to get into any ****e."
Noticing that Craig's eyes were red and swollen, he asked: "Have you been crying?"
"I had something in my eye earlier on, it must have been dust or something," said Craig unconvincingly, but Anthony persisted with the question until he got to the truth. "Yes, I have!" Craig finally admitted.
An uncomfortable silence followed for several minutes until Anthony insisted that they address the issue. "I'm not sitting here in flipping silence all night," he said. "I want it brought up if there's anything on your mind because I can't be arsed."
Craig recalled their altercation in detail, arguing that he was only trying to defend Anthony against the apparent stirring of Makosi and Kemal.
Having reflected, Anthony admitted that he understood Craig's position completely and offered his apologies, accepting blame for the ruckus.
The couple then went on to talk about their friendship on a more general level. "I'm with you practically 24 hours a day," said Anthony. "I'm with you more than any other relationship I've been in, more than any friendship I've been in, more than my mam and my gran."
"As far as I'm concerned, you're like my family to me in this house," Craig added. "And when I leave, I'm going to miss you a lot."
Referring to Makosi, he continued: "When people go on at you it really hurts me, so when she was going on at you tonight I wanted to slap her one. She done it (pool incident) to use you. She's a false bitch. I've disliked her from day one."
"I will not have you brought down by anyone in this house," he added confidently. "Big Brother knows it, they know it and the viewers know it."
Having made clear the strength of his feelings to Anthony, Craig pressed his pal for feedback on his annoying qualities and what he should change to improve their relationship.
"If I've got a friend like you that's got my best interests at heart, I don't want to change them one bit," Anthony replied. "You think the sun shines out my **** and I think you're an absolute top bloke as well."
He added: "There's nothing that could make me dislike you. I wouldn't change one thing about you. This is just the beginning of our friendship."
