Derek provided a shoulder for Craig to cry on last night in the midst of his tiff with Anthony.
While Anthony sought solace in the bedroom, Craig retreated to the living room, where he began to unload his emotions.
With tears streaming down his face, he explained to Derek: "I just don't know what to do. I have people's best interests at heart and they take it out on me. I'm sitting there trying to make sure they are perceived right by the outside world... because I practically worship the ground they walk on. I should be used to that now, I should get over it."
"He struggles with me and I don't know why he does," he mused.
Having listened attentively, Derek suggested that Anthony was "the kind of person that needs a distance for him to mature."
At one point Craig admitted that there was "so much stuff that I would love to say but I can't."
Clearly understanding what Craig meant, Derek replied passionately: "I do so understand and I would so love you one day to open up to me and tell me because I've been there, I've been through it all. Emotions are the most powerful things."
"It's not his fault but he can't comprehend sometimes the way I act the way I do," Craig realised. "I would never slag him off - I worship the ground that that bloke walks on. He could come and thump me in the face and I would still love him."
As he thought about the situation further, more of his anger appeared to be directed towards Makosi. "She used him in that pool for one thing and that makes me sick," he stated. "He's worth more than that. She used him for a bit of drama to boost her own character and it backfired on her, which I knew it would do. People do not like watching people that do that."
As he sobered up emotionally, self-awareness began to kick in. "I must look so pathetic on here. I bet the public hate me and want me out of here tomorrow."
"I think you look very human," offered Derek, explaining that people in his age range would be able to identify with his feelings. "They'll understand."
"I will be alright," declared Craig with a sigh. "Craig will adapt and prevail."
