Neighbours has cast a former Home and Away star in a mysterious guest role related to Yashvi Rebecchi and Ned Willis.
Axle Whitehead – who played Liam Murphy in Summer Bay for four years – is joining the show as Zenin Alexio, a suspicious-looking stranger (via Inside Soap).
In scenes airing next week, Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) is focused on passing her police entrance exam when she returns from Sydney and tells Ned (Ben Hall) that she wants to stay celibate until it's over.
The pair argue briefly but make up. However, trouble may be ahead as Zenin suspiciously watches the pair study in the café.
Whitehead's Home and Away character Liam featured between 2009 and 2013, and during that time had a number of storylines related to his drug addiction. Liam was also in a relationship with Bianca Scott, with the pair marrying in 2012 before later splitting up.
Yashvi and Ned recently got back together following a messy break-up. Ned was also stabbed by Scarlett Brady late last year, following weeks of being manipulated by her.
