Even when Carla got a kidney transplant so on medication, Carla was drinking but not sure she is now her mental health is monitored
Carla Connor's alcoholism seems to be dropped or forgot about
I think the measles storyline in children and adults is good to be covered

Daniel discovers Bertie barely conscious in his cot and urges Peter to call an ambulance. As the paramedic quizzes Daniel about the rash on Bertie's back, Daniel blames himself for not noticing it and calling an ambulance sooner.
When the consultant confirms that Bertie has measles, Daniel is beside himself and admits to Peter and Beth that he didn't take him back for the rest of his vaccinations.
Meanwhile, when Charlie reveals she's moving into The Rovers, a stressed-out Tim begs Abi to help him come up with a way to get rid of her.
Elsewhere, Maria admits to Gary she feels like she's coming down with something and doesn't feel well enough to travel, but insists he go to Bristol without her.

As Beth rails at Daniel for endangering Bertie's life, Daniel hangs his head in shame. Distraught, he tells Ken he took Bertie for his first jab but couldn't bear to see him in pain so never took him back. As Beth sounds off in The Rovers, Bethany leaps to Daniel's defence.
With the next 24 hours critical, Daniel screams at his family to leave him alone. Bethany finds Daniel distraught at Bertie's bedside. He pulls her to him and cries on her shoulder but then falters, unable to handle his guilt.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to get the babies off to sleep, Chesney suggests they take them for a walk. A weary Gemma reluctantly agrees.
Elsewhere, Tim tries to convince Charlie she's wasted in The Rovers, Charlie is flattered.
Wednesday 29 January 2020 at 19:30 on ITV
When Maria suffers a dizzy spell and tells Ali she's bleeding, he insists on driving her to hospital for a scan. As the sonographer breaks the news that she has lost the baby, Maria is heartbroken.
Quizzing her about her symptoms, Ali realises that she has measles. The doctor confirms this is the likely cause of her miscarriage.
Meanwhile, with Paul and Billy minding the quads, Gemma and Ches enjoy some quiet time in the Victoria Garden. Gemma confides that she's not feeling good about her body post pregnancy.
Chesney does his best to reassure her but when a bus suddenly passes, adorned with their ad campaign, with Gemma and Ches photoshopped out, Gemma's fuming and lets rip at Tara.
Elsewhere, Daniel is touched to realise Bethany has spent the night at the hospital. Daniel thanks Bethany for being such a good friend and helping him through such a terrible ordeal.
Also, when Charlie reveals she has got an interview at Gatwick Airport, Tim worries that she'll leave before she has signed the divorce papers.

Ali struggles to comfort Maria as she reveals how she lost a baby 11 years ago and can't bear to go through it again.
Gary returns from Bristol and Maria breaks the awful news that she has lost their baby. Maria blames herself while an emotional Gary does his best to comfort her.
Meanwhile, Imran advises a furious Gemma that the Freshco contract is watertight, they have total creative control so nothing she can do. Grabbing a chisel, Gemma heads out on a mission. As Ches stops her from ripping down a poster, she voices her insecurities about not feeling good enough for her babies. Chesney assures her that's not true.
Elsewhere, Sarah tells Bethany to tread carefully with Daniel as she'd hate to see her get hurt. Beth warns Bethany to stay away from Daniel as she'll never replace Sinead.
Also, Charlie tells Tim that the job at Gatwick is more or less in the bag. When Tim enquires about the divorce papers, Charlie is evasive, making out it's going to take a few more days.

Having phoned her mum, Maria tells Audrey that neither she nor Kirk had measles vaccinations when they were children. Audrey reveals that baby Bertie has been in hospital with measles and that she must have caught it from him.
Maria is shocked to hear that Daniel failed to have Bertie vaccinated, while Gary is livid. A furious Gary rails at Daniel, blaming him for the fact Maria has lost the baby.
Meanwhile, returning from Gina's, Sally makes it clear to Tim that he's still in the dog house. Tim assures her that his divorce is all in hand and he'll soon be shut of Charlie.
But when Charlie summons Tim to the Rovers and admits she hasn't signed the divorce papers as she reckons they should make a go of their marriage, Sally is horrified to realise everyone knows Tim's a bigamist.
Elsewhere, as Alya assures Yasmeen that her drinking is fine, Geoff does his best to undermine her confidence. Peter asks Yasmeen to join him at his alcoholic support group. With Geoff's words ringing in her ears, Yasmeen agrees.
Also, in a bid to cheer up Gemma, Chesney offers to look after the quads while she goes for a drink with Emma.
Finally, on the advice of the marriage guidance counsellor, Steve and Tracy make and effort to be nice to each other but it's clear they're both out of their comfort zone.

Meanwhile, Charlie reacts to the news that Tim is a bigamist.
Sally rails at Tim for failing to face up to his mistakes and by telling a pack of lies, which has only made matters worse. However, when Tim reveals he has confessed all to the police, Sally is furious and accuses him of making everything doubly worse.
Elsewhere, when Michael hires Geoff to perform some magic tricks at Tiana's birthday party, Yasmeen remarks that he's a bit rusty. Geoff seethes. Returning from the meeting, Yasmeen tells Geoff it has made her realise she doesn't have an alcohol problem. Incensed, Geoff cracks open a bottle of wine and forces her to knock it back.
Peter calls to check on Yasmeen and is concerned when Geoff claims it has done more harm than good and she has started drinking again!
Also, Steve and Tracy find themselves railroaded into attending Ken's book club as part of their relationship building exercise.
