View Full Version : neighbours ending?
i know its probs already been discussed, bu i couldnt find it on here........ but ive heard neighbours is gonna finish filming in australia in spetember thru the wetlands storyline........ does ne1 no if this is tru???!
You mean ending as in forever or ending just for a summer/autum/winter break kind of thing.
I dont think it will be ending forever
I heard the same rumour - viewing figures have fallen so much apparently that there were rumours of them finishing completely, but I haven't heard it confirmed anywhere and why do the 20th anniversary episodes with returning characters in it if they are going to end it completely - I think until its confirmed, not to worry too much. I can't see it happening myself ......

i love neighbours i think it brilliant i hope it doesn't end
I don't think it will to be honest - you don't celebrate your 20th anniversary like they are and then shut it down forever.....
unless its a celebration/anniversary one off thingy n thats the episode thats gonna end it? meh, i hope it doesnt, but a lorra ppl hav been sayin it is gonna end in australia in september

i think it is well it is just getting borining now
I haven't watched it for ages but the couple of times that I have watched it in the last 6 months, I didn't think it was up to its old standard (the good old days of Henry Ramsay and Madge, Scott and Charlene etc!!)
i doubt it will be ending and we would of hered by now.
There was reports that it would be ending here on the BBC but they were denied because it brings them 7 million viewers each day with it's two slots and it's consistently the best daytime TV programme on TV here.

I hope it does not end to be honest, but it has got somewhat mundane of late.

I hope it doesn't end either but I agree with Tangliss it hasn't been as good lately as it used to be.
It always goes in wee slumps of boring months but always manages to pick itself back up again :D
