He seems to be getting involved with several characters. Obviously there's already a feud with the Connors, and now the pairing with Abi - but there's images teasing future involvement with Alya and Bethany.

You might think that sleazy sex pest Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) is a flash in the pan and that Coronation Street residents will soon be rid of him now his mask has slipped and his true colours have come to light.
But there is a lot more to come from Ray, who has some secret ulterior motives for being in Coronation Street and taking over the businesses there – and there is someone in particular who will find himself targeting.
But what is Ray’s connection to the face from his past and just how dangerous is he as surprise twists start to unfold in a big way over coming months?
A source told Metro.co.uk: ‘Ray might be discounted by the audience as someone who is going to disappear soon but he’s actually the new baddie on the block – after the indecent proposal to Abi, he blackmails Kevin into selling him the garage meaning he now owns two premises on the street.
‘And this is just the beginning as he becomes a destructive force on the cobbles. He is going to be a thorn in the side of the residents, he is around for the long haul and he’s going to ruffle many more feathers going forward.’
They added: ‘Just what is his interest in Weatherfield? He will soon be unveiling the new look Bistro and he will be Kev’s landlord but he’s a bit if a man of mystery who seems very interested in the lives of the residents.
‘Is there someone in particular he’s staying close to and what else is going to come out about his past?’

Meanwhile, there's still the villainous Ray Crosby to contend with, who's bought the majority of properties and businesses in the local area.
Gearing up to flatten everything in his path to make way for new developments, these special anniversary episodes will find Ray's plans in jeopardy as the Weatherfieldians club together to challenge him.
I find this very unbelievable .... a small back street going to be bulldozed for high end businesses, bars ... :thumbsdow:

What are we talking about exactly. A small garage, the factory, and how many houses, three...four? He'll probably want the salon/flat and the Kabin too, but even then, that's not a lot of space to build a residential/entertainment complex that he's suggested unless there are more properties that have stayed invisible all these years.

Coronation Street schemer Ray Crosby faces the wrath of the local residents next week as his skyscraper plans are exposed.
Ray (Mark Frost) is currently plotting to demolish half of the Street and build a luxury tower block, but most people in the community are currently oblivious.
Next week, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) becomes the latest person to fall into Ray's trap as she finalises plans to sell her home. She's delighted when Ray agrees to sort her out with a property in Hale Barns at a significant discount.
Sally meets with Ray's sidekick Roxy, but when Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) spots them parting ways, she realises that she recognises Roxy.
Abi then makes the mistake of confiding in Ray's other partner-in-crime Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), expressing fears that the villain is planning to buy up the whole street.
Abi soon realises that she's right when Craig Tinker comes clean with her about the incriminating paperwork he found in Ray's office.
Before long, Sally is part of the detective work and receives confirmation from a contact on the council that a planning application has been submitted to knock down half of the street.
Debbie warns Ray that Abi is onto them, but promises that she won't let anybody ruin their plans.
Abi proves to be an impressive opponent as she rallies the neighbours together and they make plans to gatecrash Ray's big press launch.
Ray responds by making an offer to the locals, which leaves Sally, Dev Alahan, Brian Packham and Roy Cropper with lots to discuss.
Sally is adamant that, whatever Ray is offering, they must not give into a man who is planning to destroy their community.
Abi, Adam, David and Sarah also realise that without the factory, Ray's plans will be scuppered. They wonder if Ray has approached Gary and set off to find out.
Later in the week, the fightback takes another twist when Abi reveals plans to have the brewery listed as a historical building, which would prevent Ray's development work.
Debbie warns Ray that Abi is plotting, but once again promises that she'll stay one step ahead.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, November 30, Wednesday, December 2 and Friday, December 4 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

As soon as planning permission is sought, the plans have to be published by the Council for anyone to read. No need for any detective work!

True but to be honest, would anyone on Coronation Street ever suspect a major building development replacing their homes is planned and therefore go and check? :hmm:
