Martin is planning another job with Tubbs. His mind is fully occupied with the task ahead, making him rude to Sonia and Bex in his rush to leave. Bex blames herself for her dad's behaviour, but Sonia tries to reassure her.

Later, after the job is over, disaster strikes for Martin and Tubbs.

Meanwhile, Phil is getting closer to the truth and tries to quiz people who could confirm his suspicions. Ben tries to reassure Phil that they'll make sure the truth comes out.

Elsewhere, Amy tips off Denise over some shifty behaviour from Sheree, who has taken a call from 'Isaac'.

Also today, Linda promises Mick that she'll cut down on drinking in 2020, while Vinny and Jags increase their efforts to get the Slaters out of the house.

The Mitchells gather together for a party that Kathy has arranged to welcome Louise and Keanu back to Walford.

Unfortunately, all hell is about to break loose on Albert Square as Phil has discovered the full truth.

Meanwhile, Martin panics about last night, but Tubbs urges him to get rid of the van and keep quiet. Martin is unable to get help from Ben, so confides in a shocked Sonia instead.

Elsewhere, the 'Ball and Change' winners dinner ends in disaster due to Linda's drinking. Linda has some harsh words for Ruby and also berates Mick for pouring her wine down the sink. Linda feels ashamed when Ollie overhears the argument and ends up drinking alone in the Square gardens. Later, Lee returns – as organised by Mick as a surprise.

Also today, Denise is even more determined to catch out Sheree after securing new information.

Christmas Day has arrived in Walford and it's game over for Sharon and Keanu.

Phil puts his revenge plan into action, unleashing his fury over the betrayal.

Meanwhile, Sonia accuses Martin of being selfish when she catches him trying to flee. When Dot later gets a text which reveals someone has tried to withdraw thousands from her bank account, Dotty accuses Martin of being responsible.

As Martin's concerns grow, he promises Bex that he won't be leaving after all.

Elsewhere, Linda is nowhere to be seen after hitting rock bottom. Mick tries to have a good Christmas regardless, but suffers a panic attack when the pressure becomes too much.

Also today, the Slaters receive three different dinner invites. They return home to find the Panesars waiting for them with news to share.

Finally, Patrick has a surprise dinner guest, while Denise confronts Sheree about 'Isaac' and orders her to leave.

More than one family has been ripped apart after the events of Christmas Day, with Sharon and Keanu's worlds shattered. How far did Phil go?

Meanwhile, Gray's anger flares up when the venue for the vow renewal cancels and Chantelle is unable to find a replacement. Struggling with secret doubts about the renewal, Chantelle secretly sabotages it – arousing Mitch's suspicions in the process.

Elsewhere, Denise drops a bombshell on Patrick after Sheree's departure.

Gray is curious when Karen tells him how stressed Chantelle was about the vow renewal. When he sees for himself how unenthusiastic Chantelle is, Gray hatches a plan and surprises her with a makeshift vow renewal at home.

Mitch senses that something isn't right, but Chantelle doesn't open up. Chantelle assumes Karen was behind it all, but is shocked to learn that Gray was. Her ordeal gets worse when Gray surprises her with a 'honeymoon'.

Meanwhile, Lola offers Patrick some advice after spotting him ignore Denise and Jack in the cafe.
