Harlow runs a big risk, as she takes it upon herself to find her father before it is too late for David. After her traumatic experience, Elly finds herself drawn closer to Finn.

Friday 27 Dec

There is tension in the air between Elly and Finn, relations between Pierce and Hendrix remain strained, and Amy is forced to make the hardest decision of her life.

Neighbours has hinted that Paul Robinson could be in big trouble in this year's Christmas episodes.

The Aussie soap will be airing throughout the festive season again this year – and there's a high-stakes storyline planned as dangerous killer Robert Robinson escapes.

Show bosses have previously confirmed that Robert will take the opportunity to flee from Erinsborough Hospital after agreeing to donate a kidney to his half-brother David Tanaka. This leaves David in a critical condition.

Once back on Ramsay Street, Robert holds pregnant Elly Conway at knifepoint while she's in labour.

However, Neighbours' new footage shows that Paul could also be in the firing line.

When Paul returns home after an emotional day, he finds his wife Terese in a state of panic thanks to Robert.

Robert greets Paul with the words "merry Christmas, dad". Given their history, will he take this opportunity for another attempt at revenge against Paul?

Other storylines taking centre stage include the ongoing love triangle between Elly, Finn Kelly and Bea Nilsson.

The Ramsay Street residents also come together to remember Sonya Rebecchi, when a Christmas Day carol concert is held in her honour. However, the festive season ultimately takes its toll on Toadie, who's reminded of how much he misses his late wife.

Neighbours airs on Christmas Day at 12.50pm and 6.15pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Paul regrets striking a deal with Robert. He said he'd do anything to save David, but it feels like he has opened a Pandora's Box by bringing Robert into their lives.

David, Leo and Amy have an awkward first meeting with their half-brother at the hospital. Paul is making plans for what will happen with Robert after the operation is complete. Will he follow through with Robert's conditions?

Meanwhile, Jimmy is still not opening up and Amy is keeping Kyle at arm's length. Gary has discovered what could potentially be going on with Jimmy and tells Amy. She breaks down.

Kyle tries to comfort Amy, but she pushes him away. Why can't he understand she doesn't want his help? Will these two ever find their way back to each other?

Elsewhere, when Toadie comes clean to Yashvi about orchestrating the discovery of Ned's gift, Yashvi feels awful for having a go at Ned, but is sure she doesn't still have feelings for him.

Excited by the massive police operation surrounding Robert, Yashvi goes to the hospital to check it out and bumps into Ned. They share a moment – could there possibly be a future for these two?
