Cancer-stricken Kylie Minogue has undergone a cutting edge operation to make sure she can still become a mum. .
The pop babe was warned she will struggle to get pregnant after she starts chemotherapy for breast cancer - but didn't want to give up her dream of motherhood.
In the new procedure - which so far has only led to two successful pregnancies - sections of the star's ovaries were removed and frozen.
The tissue can later be re-implanted in the hope it will release eggs and Kylie, who is dating French actor Olivier Martinez, will be able to fall pregnant.
The revolutionary treatment is said to have given new hope to the diminutive blonde, who was "completely distraught" after two IVF attempts failed.
