Ste gives a speech at Stuart's 'family day' to rapturous applause, but Jack is disgusted when he stumbles across the event at The Teahouse and reports them to the police. Ste is on cloud nine, having selfies with his 'fans', while Stuart and Jonny discuss inviting Ste into the plan today.
Later, Ste sees Sinead, who is upset about Finn's return. It's like old times, until talk turns to Ste's beliefs. He sees red when he finds out that she's engaged to Sami. Back at home, absent minded Ste agrees to help with Stuart's big plan.
Meanwhile, Diane is surprised to hear that Sinead is getting married when Azim tries to book The Hutch for the engagement party. Sinead doesn't want her mum to be involved in her life until Finn is gone for good.
Elsewhere, James thinks Juliet deserves to be punished for what she did to Brooke and suggests she sees a counsellor. Juliet asks Marnie to help her make things right.
Also today, Bobby surprises Mercedes with a 'beach' on The Dog patio. Mercedes tells Bobby that she's happiest when she's with him and he asks why she hasn't had a baby with Sylver yet.

Stuart and the group are unaware that they're being followed by plain clothed officers.
At the same time, Sinead is ready for her engagement party at The Loft and drops Hannah off at Leela's for the night. Ste is furious that he's not allowed to see Hannah and he and Sami argue.
Later, at The Loft, Sinead is annoyed with Sami for sinking to Ste's level, but feels guilty when Sami explains what he's had to put up with for his whole life.
Mitchell laughs at Cleo's terrible dancing and exchanges awkward glances with Scott. Scott and Azim clash when Scott wants to have karaoke, but he soon wins Azim round.
Meanwhile, Yasmine is still at the Maaliks' getting the balloons ready for the party and worries that she's going to get stuck in the doorway when she prepares too many.

Maxine is being harassed online following Damon's arrest. James explains that Maxine's illness is still their best defence for the trial. He tells Maxine that she should be at the trial so the jury can see for themselves how ill she is. However, Sienna is stunned when Maxine uses make-up to make herself look worse.
James and Damon are similarly concerned by how Maxine looks, unaware that it's all fake.
Meanwhile, Marnie sets up a dating profile for James. Juliet gets in on the action by helping Marnie to improve her dating game. Marnie is delighted when 'James' gets a potential match.
