Emmerdale is about to get not one, but two new visitors, as comedian Tommy Cannon and actor Louis Healy are heading to the Dales for guest stints.
Tommy's appearance was teased earlier last month when he let the news slip in a now-deleted Twitter post, in which he said: "Excited to be able to announce that I'm doing a brief stint as 'Derek' in @emmerdale !! Spending some time in the dales."
And today (September 3) his role was confirmed, alongside the news that Louis will be joining the cast too.

The comedian, who is known as one half of comedy duo Cannon and Ball, will portray Derek, a patient of the ITV soap's Doctor Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker).
In the same week, young actor Louis, the son of Denise Welch and Tim Healy, will be introduced as Danny, who befriends Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and quickly becomes her love interest.
The full nature of the new characters' storylines are being kept shtum for the time being, although the village visitors are set to have serious consequences for the Dales' full-time residents.
For those unfamiliar with Tommy's previous work, he rose to fame alongside Bobby Ball while airing their popular variety series, The Cannon and Ball Show, between 1979 and 1988.
They've since featured on numerous shows, including the fifth season of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and the third season of Celebrity Coach Trip in 2012, among others.
Meanwhile, Louis has proved his acting chops in shows such as Vera and Scott & Bailey. Both Tommy and Louis will appear in Emmerdale from Monday, September 16.
