Meanwhile, Hollyoaks bosses are lining up an attack storyline for Sami Maalik, as Stuart Sumner's dangerous far-right group strikes again.

Sami (Rishi Nair) is targeted after Stuart and his bigoted associates object to the Maalik family celebrating Eid.

When the Maaliks have a party in their back yard, Stuart (Chris Simmons) and Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn) both make plans to scare them into cutting it short.

Tensions rise further when Ste Hay's kids Leah and Lucas sneak out of the house and try to join in on the fun.

Ste (Kieron Richardson) is furious when he finds out and drags them away, while Stuart and Jonny stay and intimidate the Maalik family.

Later, Ste's anger rises when Leah tells him that she wishes Sami was her dad. Jonny and Stuart use this remark to convince Ste that they need to scare Sami.

Not long afterwards, Sami gets pepper sprayed in the street by a hooded mystery person.

Sami is released from hospital the next day with no permanent damage, while the police quiz Jonny and Ste about their whereabouts the night before.

When Ste confronts Stuart about the attack, Stuart puts the blame firmly on him – pointing out that he was the one who complained about Sami and made the order for action. Could Ste start to turn against the group after more of Stuart's manipulations?


Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Monday 12 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

The Maalik family is having an Eid celebratory party. Jonny and Stuart suggest scaring the Maaliks into backing down.

The party is in full swing and Leah and Lucas sneak out of Ste's house and ask if they could join in on the fun. Ste finds this out and crashes the party, dragging them both away. Stuart and Jonny stay and intimidate the Maalik family.

Leah tells Ste that she wishes Sami was her dad, and Jonny and Stuart use this to convince Ste of their plan to scare Sami. Later, Sami gets pepper sprayed in the street by a hooded mystery person.

Meanwhile, Breda is planning a big night in The Hutch on Friday. She tells Goldie that she's throwing her a party to cheer her up, but in reality, she's secretly planning to marry Jack. Breda calls Joel around and asks if he could lead them in some prayers after the wedding. It's awkward as an angry Goldie gives Joel the cold shoulder.

Elsewhere, Nancy notices that Brooke has been acting strangely, and Ollie tells Nancy about her argument with Juliet. She asks Marnie to join her in a peace keeping effort.


Tuesday 13 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

A policeman turns up at Jonny and Ste's house, demanding to know where they were last night during Sami's attack. Sami is back from the hospital with no permanent damage.

When Ste confronts Stuart about the attack, Stuart puts the blame on Ste, telling him that he was the one who made the order for action.

Later, Jonny and Stuart set Ste out on another date with Jed.

Meanwhile, Joel tries to cheer Goldie up, and agrees to do yoga with her. Whilst messing around, Joel tells her he can't succumb to temptation, so she kicks him out.


Wednesday 14 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

Ste admits to Jonny that he has something to tell him and Stuart about Jed.

Meanwhile, Cindy has a drink with Mercedes. Cindy tells her that she's jealous of her wonderful devoted husband Sylver, but Mercedes isn't too sure.

Mercedes decides to spend time with Liam whilst Sylver and Bobby are away. Nana spots Liam's leopard print undies on the floor, and hears Mercedes and Liam in the bedroom.

Elsewhere, Goldie flirts with a guy she spotted in the village.


Thursday 15 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

On Stuart's memory stick, there is a floor plan to a community centre on it. What is he planning?

Meanwhile, Goldie is burning all of her clothes from former exes. Cleo tells Joel that he must decide what he wants because it's hurting Goldie.

Elsewhere, Sylver and Bobby are back after their trip to Blackpool. Mercedes covers when Nana confronts her about what she heard last night, and tells her the underwear was a gift for Sylver. Later, Breda overhears Mercedes on the phone to Liam, admitting to an affair.


Friday 16 August 2019 at 18:30 on Channel 4

It's Jack and Breda's secret wedding day, but Breda has pressing matters to attend to. She tells Joel in the confession box that someone in her family has sinned.

Joel guesses that Breda has found out about him and Goldie. Breda confronts Mercedes about what she heard.

At the same time, Sylver catches Jack carrying his kilt and realises they're getting married. Jack tells Darren and Mandy about the wedding.

Later, Breda is hysterical when she walks in on Goldie and Joel in bed together. She storms off to The Dog where she tells Jack and Sylver that the "meal" is now off. Breda hides in a toilet stall as a devastated Jack begs her to come out.

Elsewhere, Liam and Mercedes are making out hiding behind a van.
