Phil angers Ben by giving him a hard time over his recent behaviour.

Later, Phil tries a different approach by trying to build bridges with his son. He digs out an old boxing trophy to give to Ben, but although Ben appreciates the gift, things turn sour again when he interrupts a revealing meeting between Phil and Shirley.

Meanwhile, Bobby receives a gift from a friend on his birthday. At Bobby's party, Ian worries about his son's distracted behaviour.

Elsewhere, Stuart makes a plan when he hears Jack talking about how much trouble he's in.

Also today, Tiffany makes plans to move back to Milton Keynes and Keegan's frosty reaction only strengthens her decision to go.

Finally, Kat is disappointed when the latest attempt to bring her and Stacey closer fails, while Karen's loved ones wonder about the "important news" she has to share.

Stacey decides to have a romantic meal with Martin to make amends for giving him a hard time recently. However, Stacey gets caught up dealing with Max's troubles. When Max injures himself on a picture frame and Stacey tries to help, she's horrified by what she discovers.

Stacey continues to help Max as he breaks down, and she ends up telling Martin that she can't make dinner. Max makes a shocking admission to Stacey and they're both unaware that Martin is watching the house from across the Square.

Meanwhile, Karen makes a big announcement to her family.

Elsewhere, Shirley announces that she'll be leaving her job at the Queen Vic. Worried about Shirley's next move, Mick warns her to keep any dodgy business away from the pub.

Also today, Kim tells Denise that she's leaving for a new job in Scotland.

Stacey panics when she wakes up at Max's house and starts making plans for another romantic meal in order to make amends with Martin. Martin is full of suspicion over Stacey's time with Max, but struggles to find the best way to approach the situation.

Later, Ruby has a bad date and her day gets worse when she struggles to deal with the work accounts. Max decides to help her out and Ruby sees him in a new light.

Stacey heads back to Max's place but is shocked to find Ruby there.

Meanwhile, Tiffany invites Keegan along to her farewell picnic, but he rejects her again. Gray encourages Keegan to tell Tiffany how he really feels, but Keegan fails to do so.

Elsewhere, Mel supports Louise after her school friends mock her for being pregnant.

Also today, Karen continues to enjoy her new relationship, while Bailey tries to get the Walford residents recycling more.

Ruby is confused by Stacey's strange reaction to seeing her with Max.

Max is forced to explain his complicated history with Stacey, which leads to Ruby feeling awkward and leaving.

Meanwhile, Keegan announces that he's quitting school after being inspired by Gray. Mitch is furious and argues with Gray, leading to a fight between the two men.

Elsewhere, Bernadette begs Keegan to stop Tiffany from leaving. Keegan rushes off to the tube station and tells Tiffany how he really feels, but is it too late?

Also today, Mel learns that Louise hasn't told Lisa about her pregnancy. She urges Louise to break the news soon.
