when i try and watch video clips from the net or listen to sound clips a message comes up on windows media player saying:

Windows Media Play Cannot Play The File. If This File Is On The Internt, Connect To The Internet. If The File Is Inserted On A Removable Storgae Card, Insert The Storgae Card.

hasnt anyone else had this problem, and do you know how to rectify it???

A bit of a long shot but is Internet Explorer set to 'Work Online'? Open Internet Explorer, Click File, and make sure there isn't a tick next to 'Work Offline'.
